    Debt-free and Proud!
Here's how we're getting on with the list:

Today's list is massive cos there's loads of housework to be done too:
    [STRIKE]paint front door[/STRIKE]
paint meter cupboard doors (one coat is done, one still to go)
paint garage door if stays dry ( it did, but not gonna happen)
do some glossing inside if gets wet (not gonna happen)
    clean shower screen
    hoover
(can;t see him doing either of these two today now)
    [STRIKE]dark wash[/STRIKE]
    white wash
    towels wash
    make beef bourguignon for freezer
    [STRIKE]hang up clean clothes[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]clean bathroom[/STRIKE]
    clean mirrors
    clean insides of windows
    mop bathroom floor
    mop kitchen floor
    dusting
    [STRIKE]wash nappies[/STRIKE] and baby clothes :D
    pack labour bag
collate home birth stuff so OH can find it all
    print out birth plan
    wash kitchen cupboard doors

    I am now adding:
try and get green out of nappies

Really haven;t got far at all and feel very useless. there is so much to do I am paralysed into inaction.

Baked potato, cheese and beans here. Do9n't usually like beans but the notion took me and it's actually quite nice.

Hypno, hope everything is ok. Nice *behave placenta vibes* to you.

I know mint is nice but this isn;t evenly dyed, plus I did not want mint green nappy liners!

They are currently in the (washed-out) garden trug in the bath, wallowing in cold water.

last week i dyed a white m&s cotton tshirt light mint by putting it in with a dark grassy green colour skirt. I was mortified coz i know it was only £3.50 but money is money and it looked a bit naff - anyway i washed it three times as normal and the colour is nearly the same as my other white one now. might be worth re washing all but one and see if they come out a bit lighter using the one to compare them too as i am hoping the green dye is easy to shift for you like mine was.

Hypno - hope the mucus is just something on its own and not a bleed coming but well done you for getting everything organised and ready just in case. The hospital will look after you if you do need to go in, and baby is pretty cooked now so is probably perfectly OK to come out and meet you if anything happens.

Sending 'stay inside for now' vibes to you.
    xx

I hope it's something on its own too but it did come with a little old and fresh blood so it did worry me, there's nothing i can do if it is gonna happen, so i'll just sit tight, have had a Mars ice cream bar to make myself feel better!

I get this skintchick - cover all but the last item on the list with a piece of paper or book or something and do them one by one and just get through what you can do with plenty of cups of tea inbetween. :D
(i cant remember who gave me the great advice about the tea - but it was someone on here:D)

The colour run stuf works really well IME (don't ask how I know though!). I didn't know you were supposed to keep the stuff wet before using it and am pretty sure its worked for me on things that have been dried first. I'd go straight to it to be honest, even if its not the most old style solution, as I think its most likely to work, and if it doesn't then you can try the other suggestions after it. I'd be concerned if you try other chemicals on the stains before you use the colour run that you'll set the colour and it won't work.

As for the storage bag, can you just buy a new one?

    Hi everyone

just popped on for a nosey to see how your all getting on.

Hypno, I haven't be following the thread, but assume you have had a bleed from your placenta, did it happen during the night. Anytime I had mucus, I always bled within a week of it. I hope its not the same for you, but it was the only sign I ever had and usually the more mucus, the heavier the bleed.
