    Jillie Congratulations! ;)

I was still in bed, have only just got up, lazy cow that I am and I am suffering with a headache and sore back from all that tidying yesterday. I am itching to get wood to box in the boiler and then strip off the caravan wallpaper and paint my bedroom. It has sat like it was when we bought the house 7 years ago, caravan wallpaper and horrid bedroom semi-built in furniture. But, DH says no point decorating it except in the same pale blue we did the boys room as we need to convert the loft (DH also had a great idea for that, stairs will go up through the cupboard in the kids room meaning we don't loose any bedroom space due to the way their bedroom is shaped) and the boys will get that room, we will move into the loft and the lil lady will get the boys room which is smaller. But that will take YEARS!!!

I want it painted a creamy coffee colour *huffs*

I'm back and you didn't even change page. I think everyone must be enjoying the cooler weather.

It's lots better here today, thankfully since I have so much to do. Done the shopping, just about to load up the car, then will try to watch more sky+'d stuff until parents arrive. Down to 14% free now and last night it froze up, then wouldn't come off standby, then showed everything recording had a powercut. Think it's ok now but want to clear as much as I can so that I don't lose too much if it happens again.

    Hope all well

I'm still in work! GP left at 11am so will be leaving in a bit. Woke up in a panic at 7,20am thinking I had to be for 8am and had overslept but it's 9am today so panic over!!

Found a live wasp in the bathroom this morning but am hoping that's the last of them now! I shoulda taken a pic really so you could see how big it was - it musta been 2 foot long by 1 foot. I am so amazed we didn't hear any buzzing they were so quiet in the attic!

right post office, chemist, shops, betting shop and home me thinks

    No babies here yet :(

I am fully expecting to have to go in for induction next Friday night.

Any progress with you yet Mollie?

Nowt happening here either . I did have 3 strong BH's this morning, but that was it.
I have made up my mind nothing will happen until my induction either.

DH has been busy this morning. I heard him shuffling boxes around upstairs and find him setting up the moses basket and baby monitor. (This is without being [STRIKE]nagged[/STRIKE] asked to do it first ) He says he is going to get all the baby things ready today and do stuff from his list of chores too!
I have been trying to keep busy too and have been manically cleaning today, trying desperately to evict my 'ickle tenant!

Labour vibes to you pinkpig and anyone else in need, x

    EDIT: Jillie - Congratulations!!

Wow - hardly anything to catch up on!!!

Jillie - Congratulations whichever team you are on ;)

Tia - sounds like lots of progress has been made on the bedrooms. Can you not pull a pregnancy strop to get the colour you want :rotfl:

Elastigirl - maternity clothes shopping has got the be the worst thing ever - I though being in Machester everyday I would have loads of choice - there is hardly ianything in any of the stores. I would reccomend ebay too!

Sounds like everyone else has loads of plans for the weekend - my plan is to exchange some maternity bra's I ordered but are too small  - need these for my hospital bag, do some food shopping, but only if I have too and then do very little else
Labour vibes to those that still need them (not for Tara, until after Ben's birthday weekend ;)) - Oh, MTW hasn't been on yet :D - Damm you posted as I was typing :p

EvansAngel - just seen your FB statuts - make sure you check how this would affect your ML/SMP/Maternity Benefits...You may be better off staying with them, getting what you can whilst on maternity leave and then think about changing jobs :D

Sorry, don't want to sound like I'm preaching but don't want you to loose out either ;)

    Morning all.

Congratulations Jillie! I don't know how you held out for so long!

My new best friend is my basin of cold water. The swollen feet have gone down a bit, but the soles of my feet are constantly on fire. Must be the friction from wearing flip flops or something. I am really bored/irritable/restless/lazy/uncomfortable all at the same time.

Having a lazy day today - just going to do housework and clear out second bedroom which has become a dumping ground for everything whilst getting other rooms decorated. Then we will watch the tennis. Tomorrow, we have MIL and Gran IL coming for the day, so think we will visit garden centres, watch tennis, have dinner and then pack them off home.

Thanks for the details of Mothercare discounts Harley. Will check them out, as we still need a few bits and pieces. I was going to order them anyway, but had been looking for a free delivery code. Extra discount will do though!
