I'm due Tuesday 22nd Sept and was originally finishing work on Friday 18th Sept. However, the last week or so I've been struggling so I've booked 4 weeks off before that so now I finish on Friday 21st August when I'll be 36 + 3.

I can't wait until that day!!!

Ahh thanks. This was the bit that always put me off joining, cos I read the bit at the start and could never find the list to add myself too :cool: :rotfl:

I currently work full time and was just planning my maternity leave today (not that I'm keen for 9 months off or anything ) I was hoping to work until 9th Dec, but with this being my first, I'm not sure if that's a bit optimistic?

How long are yous taking off before the due date?

Thanks for all the advise so far, I have been reading through on and off, but finally thought I would take the plunge and join in today!

My first was due 31st dec and I worked until 15th dec, just a desk job I prob could have worked longer if I had to but it was pretty tiring
rember only about 4% of babies arrive on due date, Chris was 14 days late!
