I made this the other day and it is bloomin' lovely!
I bought a John Lewis ice cream maker the other week and it is fantastic.
Strawberry Yoghurt Ice Cream
300ml milk (full fat best result)
100g granulated sugar
2 x pots of Muller Lite Strawberry flavour
1 tsp vanilla essence
Pour the milk and sugar into a medium bowl and whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
Stir in the Muller yoghurts and vanilla essence.
Cover and put in the fridge for a couple of hours if you have the time.
Turn your ice cream maker on and pour the mixture into the bowl.
Leave for about 30 minutes.
This will be quite soft so put into the freezer for at least a couple of hours.
I leave overnight and if left longer (if it lasts that long), it will not go rock hard like yoghurt does. It will be harder than normal ice cream but will still be scoopable, just run your scoop, spoon under the hot water tap to make it easier.
This forms a lovely, smooth ice cream because of the added milk.
Tesco have a special offer on at the minute, 10 Muller Lite for £3 (normally 61p each), so I will buying some different flavours tomorrow to try.
I made strawberry and a batch of cherry, both are nice but I prefer the strawberry as it has more of a tang.0
