Spent £9 on a curry last night for the both of us, was rather delish! Spent £3.25 at play gym this morning. So that's £12.25 so far. x

    Hi All
Would love to join this challenge, I went shopping yesterday (luckily my mother granted me the gift of £20 to treat myself to some clothes) and spent £15 (also bought some stuff for the work birthday club, however the money was given to me by colleagues so not 'my' budget), so including a bit of petrol to cover us until pay day Friday I would like to pledge £25

    Thanks
    Natalie

I'm not posting last weeks spends as I was well over :( Unplanned trip into the city with best friend.

As I'm over budget this month, I'm pledging £0 until payday! Hopefully then I'll spend all of Friday working out my budget and so that will be a NSD too :P

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time
  • Evening all,

I popped into into town today, to get a couple of things budgeted for else where and was pleased I didn't get tempted into any unplanned spends. Yay! This challenge seems to be helping the must buy stuff craving.

    Howdy Budgeteers,

I have updated the first post, a mammoth task as we have a large bunch this week which is brilliant , let me know if I have missed anything.

My only spend today was £5.25 on bits for holiday and £1.50 on a chai tea latte from the canteen. Total £6.75.

One more day at work until I am off to the sunshine:j:j:j

    Hey all

I'm taking a break this week as the challenge isn't working for me at present. I set a budget then break it by Tuesday and seeing my name in red makes me sad :rotfl:

I'm going to see how my spending is this week and hopefully return to you lovely people next week.

pp - if it's not too much hassle can you ping me the link to next weeks challenge when it's up and running?

    Good luck budgeteers!

Aargh! Had to post a letter special delivery and it was £4.95!!!
    So that's £12.25 + £4.95 = £17.20 already! How annoying.

I don't want to sound pretentious when there are so many people here on far less and doing an amazing job, but mine is £100.

This doesn't mean I want to spend it all, just that I'm going to Wimbledon on Wednesday, cricket Thursday evening and am seeing somebody on Saturday. I don't mind if I go over it, for this week anyway...

    Hello there,

I have added you to the first post, don't worry too much about how much you pledge everyone here is different with different circumstances and we are a non-judgemental lot
