Tesco are the worst isp ever imo
i signed up with them in september and had nothing but problems one of the problems was tesco not setting up the direct debit and letting my account go into debt and only telling me this when i was £55 in debt to them
When i ring them up about this (not a free number) i`m put on hold for over an hour then someone comes back on the line to say i need to speak to a manager and one will call me tomorrow but never does.
they dont reply to emails althought they they do say you can email them for support and questions.
i have now been disconected by tesco for nopne payment and still no contact from them i have now placed a complaint with ofcom .
my advice is to stay clear of tesco0 -

My top money saving and stress tip is to avoid Tesco.net completley. I tried to sign up with them and it was a disaster. They were supposed to send out free modem and filter as part of the deal but never did . I got fed up with e mailing and listening to nice music on the phone which no one answered(at my expense) so I cancelled.
A month later someone actually phoned me and they then told me I would have to pay £70 cancellation fee for a service which had never been connected as no modem etc had arrived. Also they have taken money off my card for the time they say I was connected. I may finally have resolved this but their customer service is non existent. I have spent literally hours trying to get some sense out of this company. I am now with Demon. Take a look . It is the same deal from them as Tesco. AVOID TESCO.0
