    Hi Michelle

Well done on joining up to a MS company! There are loads to join - I've got about 15 in my favourites. I've made over £300 in fees this month so its definitely worth it.
Check out the thread on the Up your Income Board or PM if you need any more info - not that I'm an expert I've only been doing it since beginning of March!

Enjoying reading your thread - you've inspired me to do washing at 30deg and I've been pegging the washing out instead of using the TD

Yeah he's not 1 till July so it's all very exciting watching the changes in him. My other nephew is 15 next month though and making me feel very old. I remember him being born!! I can't believe he's so old...he leaves school next year!!

Parents evening was really good but, I was sooooo tired yesterday. I did manage to drag myself to the gym after work though so I'm pleased with that. DH is back now as well which is cool. I'm considering my options for the future currently. Thinking I might go back and do a MSc in Neuroimaging at some point though....maybe after next year.

    Hi Michelle

I too am on Imeasure , on the MSE club on there.

Your electricity does seem a little high as its roughly the same as ours (household of me, Oh, 2 teens, 12 , 11 year old and a 8month old) and we do have 3 ps3's and 4 tvs although I do monitor usage of these. Someone is also here 24/7.

I think the big electricity saving for me is not having a "oven" myself. Ive only a combination microwave and a gas hob and I manage fine with these. I dont know if you have your cooker on alot but maybe something to think about. I know you use your slow cooker.

When I started using Imeasure we were roughly 17kwh per day  and now we average about 9, just by turning everything off at the socket and not putting the TV on for background noise, not using the dishwasher or tumble dryer. I have invested in a rotaire dryline instead and pegged my washing out all over winter. Small changes can make a big difference as you know with your OP's. :)

Oh and something else - Dont wash for fun - something all us women are guilty of. We'll never get to the bottom of the washing pile so why try.

You'll probably just see the electric come down naturally over the next few weeks/ months too as you get use to watching it. I really didnt think we would get under 10kw but we have.

Radish - Eww thats going too far! :rotfl:

Wow long post - I'll go back to lurking ( with the odd bit thrown in )
