    Congratulations on your pink-bump-neice.
We were going to go for pampers pj pants, and i even bought a pack of 10 for £4, but i decided to just go for it, and we'll save those for when we are at grandparents house next month.

I have wrestled with the pampers pyjama pants in the past - worked OK; but were very expensive in the longer run as they can really only be used once or at a push twice - even if they are not "used" used.:D

I have found that the pampers bedmats are a better buy - and work out cheaper in the long run. They stay under the sheets - protect against accidents - unfortunately you are likely to have one or two of these even though he is doing so well now. One can last for months if not "used". Just dont accidentally put them in the wash - makes a huge mess !

Trick to dealing with regular wetters.

Mattress with bed mat on top (pampers or whichever is on offer) - Fitted sheet; with another Bed Mat and another fitted sheet on the top.

I learnt this the hard way when regular bedwetters in the house. That way if there is a prob in the night you just strip off the top sheet and bed mat - and you have a clean sheet etc all ready to go underneath. Better than trying to strip the bed and remake it at silly-oclock and trying to keep kids quiet so that they just go straight back off to sleep.

There wasnt any bedmats when my lads were little and tbh I wouldnt buy them even now. Not when I've done without in the past.

I used a oilcloth I was given (is that what those waterproof tablecloths are called??) and wrapped it all around the mattress and then put the sheets on top. As long as you wake them for a wee when you go to bed they normally then are fine until the morning.

My mum must have had a nightmare washing with me as i was a bedwetter until I was 10 !

You're doing so well honey. You are an inspiration. I on the other hand feel like I'm wadding through mud. All work related misery though. I don't know what's wrong with me....I have 5 weeks to get through and I'm sure it must get better then. At the minute though I can't even see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Still, seeing others achieving inspires me...so thank you!
