It can be risky but, for the really nice RE jobs, sometimes it's tempting to just go straight for the eligibility test and use common sense rather than risk reading through all the notes and then lose out to someone else. Once you've done a few of each type of job, you pretty much know where they are going with the assignment notes...

- You've already got a job - you can't have a second one while you're on probation.
- Somebody took that job while you were applying for it.
- You answered one of the questions wrong.
I don't have any jobs selected yet - it says 0 active - and I answered a question wrong once for the first one and it came up with a different message and askd me to go back and correct it. I guess it must mean that someone took them while I was filling it out then ... too slow ... grr!Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x0 -

Hey, look, I'm quoting myself!!! The other thing I tend to do with RE in mind is to download the menus from their restaurant clients every now and then. You can then quickly see what you can get within the reimbursement (as there is usually no fee).
That way, you can make an informed (and more importantly, quick) decision on whether it is worth your while taking on a job.0 -

I think a lot of people do this - for popular jobs you can pretty much guarantee that if you sit there reading the notes all the jobs will have gone. I usually do what you said, or maybe just flick through the notes very quickly...Dan

Deal one is for people who want to join a Total Fitness gym in the UK and deal two is for people who to join a Total Fitness gym in Dublin.
This seems to be spamming a few boards. I had a look to see what's the catch? - Outrageous terms IMHO!
"4. Unless the Member, four weeks before expiration of the current membership, gives the Company written registered notice terminating the same the Member agrees that Membership shall automatically continue for a further year"
Note that says 4 weeks not less not more or you pay another full year - good luck if you want out
"15. (iii) In the event of major reconstruction of the Centre premises, every effort will be made by Management to eliminate any diminution of Centre services. Membership will not be suspended and Member’s co-operation in this respect is assumed"
So doesn't this mean they knock it down for a rebuild for months - you pay OK?
How do they get away with this type of terms?
Also others read carefully!0 -

One of mine was like this too. But the salesman was very helpful and nice. You never know, I could have been a WAG or an internet millionaire, not always possible to tell on appearance.
I agree! As a child I grew up in a wealthier situation than how my life has panned out as an adult and noone would have ever guessed that they had money - they would have been ignored for being scruffy  means i can wear my jeans anywhere and pretend I am still connected to some sort of money... as if :rolleyes:0 -
Ive taken a different call than i have done before for RE. I have to use debit card and then call back and cancel - has anyone else done these as I just want to check there's no risk of me having to spend anything? Thanks in advance.0

Just a quick TNS question. I've spotted a job on there but the date to do the job by was yesterday. I'm actually walking past that shop tomorrow, so I can pop in and do it. How do I get it allocated to me as it comes up with an error if I try to select tomorrow's date. Here I go again on my own....0

Hi angel, I've never heard of that & I'm not too sure I'd be happy to continue to be honest
I've just been on one this evening for RE, (the first for ages due to family illness). I've just completed my report & there wasn't a spell checker at the end. When did this disappearNow thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker0
