Wouldnt be any harm in sending the receipt off though, just so they have it.
Email address is alice@abaresearch.co.uk - put your job number as the email subject and it will all be fine
I have emailed receipts late to them before, they appreciate it because then they dont even have to bother chasing you up0 -
Ive never been asked for an Abai receipt, for any type of job , just have to input the receipt number into the report so the client has it.
Have received 4 very nice envelopes today too , luvverly.0 -

You dont get "asked" as such, it will be somewhere on the first couple of pages of the briefing notes. It says along the lines of "once you have completed the assignment, please scan/photo your receipt and send to xxxxx@abaresearch.co.uk"
It annoys me doing it this way - they should have an automated system like RE where you just upload it with the report.
IMO I dont think they actively chase you up on it, like you say as long as you input the numbers from the receipt in the actual report. But if the numbers are wrong for example, they use the hard copy of the receipt as verification. The one time I didnt email a receipt to them and one of the numbers was wrong on the report, I got a telephone call and an email with a subject in capital letters saying "VERY URGENT CLIENT QUERY" - sent a very quick email back with the scanned receipt, so that I didnt get refused payment0 -

I've never, ever done it! And always been paid. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

But when asked to do something, do you usually just not bother?0 -

neither have I but then Ive only done 3 jobs so far with them so maybe its not been in the paperwork. is this in the paperwork/questionnaire somewhere DebtHater or somewhere else??? I took photos of receipts expecting to have to download them and then it only asked me for receipt numbers instead.0 -

OK, sorry it took me a few moments to find the briefing notes in my emails.
Goog thing about Google Mail is everything archives
I have just read through a "catalogue shop" briefing notes for one of the visits this month, and it states 2 or 3 times the following:ABAi_Briefing_Notes wrote:Please keep the refund receipt and scan this in and e-mail it to jade@abaresearch.co.uk after
your visit.
Further on in the briefing, it states:ABAi_Briefing_Notes wrote:Receipts
Receipts:
• Please note that after you have refunded your purchase you must keep the receipt for 3 months following the assessment
• You must scan in the refund receipt and email it to jade@abaresearch.co.uk when you have completed your visit
• You'll need to make a note of the transaction number and Reg number on the original receipt before you take the purchase back for refund as this receipt will be taken away from you and replaced by a refund receipt which will not have all the correct information.
And again, in the email that the briefing notes were attached to, it says:ABAi_Email wrote:ADDITIONAL INFO:
You must also keep a copy of the refund receipt, scan this and e-mail it to: jade@abaresearch.co.uk when you have completed the visit. Failure to do so will result in non-payment. If you do not have a scanner please either fax a copy to: 01727 837 338 Or send to: Jade Sian ABA Market Research Ltd. Freepost NAT 14430 St. Albans Hertfordshire AL1 3BR
And as the email I received from them recently, that queried why I hadnt sent the receipt into them and the till numbers were wrong on the report, they do state quite clearly that you do risk non-payment for not following the brief correctly.
Just seems a bit of a silly risk to take to be honest.0 -
woohoo just been accepted for my very 1st 2 jobs for TERN yay!0

I think it is only the catalogue shops (the refund ones), where they ask you to send in the receipt. For these ones, you need to email them the receipt as DebtHater has mentioned. AFAIK the other clients do not need the receipts, just keep them in case they are ever queried, like all clients.0
