What sort of time are we talking about people? 3.30pm or later?

Yeah the first one is the scariest! My first was a burger job for Gap on Easter Sunday!!!! Ha ha. Managed to pick it up the night before (the job that is), imagine it got realised when someone realised it was Easter. Was a drive thru so dead easy and it was very exciting! We had a family gathering at my Grandma's house afterwards so I sat and went through my questionnaire there!!!! Was so exciting!

  • Re ALL my Abai petrol jobs I have gone through all the briefing notes and they all say :

You must make a note of both of your receipt numbers - these act as proof that you
have visited the stores and helps us to identify which till and team member served you.

No reference to emailing receipts so must have done lots of different ones to you Debthater. Think I will wait for Abai to ask me to always email a receipt as there is absolutely no mention of it on any of my briefing notes and I dont want to trouble them with unnecessary emails.

I remember my first MS job about 6 months ago , a bank one , I really wondered how I was going to remember everything, fortunately it went OK !

Would be nice to be able to snap up a TNS job , have yet to do one for them.

my first one was with Bare mid April so lots of us are newbies! You have done well getting work with Gap as I never get anything much - only 2 jobs with them so far!

I've got about 20 lined up over the next few weeks - up until 20th July - and pretty much all of the are GAP! Phones, burgers, 2 sandwiches and 2 pizza places. I only have 3 with GFK and 1 with RE (but I'm "probationary" there, so I imagine once I've done my first with them tonight, I'll be able to pick up a few more)

Well done! Least you have that scary first one done and dusted! I've got my first ever two tomorrow!! I'm worried I will forget what i'm asking about or something...it's for two banks

It's good to know there's a few other newbies on here too!

Ooh, scary - good luck!! I signed up for 2 bank ones on Monday - I thought I'd do something not so intense (burger and pizza) beforehand to warm me up and get used to it. I hope it goes well!

Don't worry - it wasn't that bad actually. The thing that got me is that there was 1 person in the queue ahead of me, but then as I went to stand behind her, I was called by another server at a newly opened till, so I was caught off guard and wasn't quite prepared! I was worried I would mess up the timings as I hadn't had a chance to start it yet cos I hadn't even got to the queue when I got called over! Luckily I pressed the right button on my phone and it all went smoothly! x

on GAP my closest city doesn't seem to be on the list anymore, how bizzare is that? Do you think they're maybe not running in that area anymore? But it is a city centre, weird!

That list changes, if your city/town isnt listed it means no jobs in that area :)
