It's a rare 14-16 year old that doesn't have at least a savings account (even if it's empty
) and there's no reason why they can't be used for payments in.
It'd be like saying Tesco should pay their 16 year old still at school employees in vouchers. MS is a job like any other -you accept the job offer you accept the way you are paid too.
I'd think most teenagers would prefer cash to vouchers too so they aren't restricted to where they can spend their earnings.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Quick question about Gap pizza jobs please. The last few months when I've done these, I've had the new style report, much easier to complete and only 2 timing points, and much more freedom on what you order.
I've got one of the latest batch and it's the old report again, loads of timing points, can't order what I want to and much longer report. Does anyone know what's going on? Are they just rotating these around the country or have they stopped doing the nice new ones?0 -
I'd personally feel a bit patronised being paid with vouchers at 16!
I don't believe any MS companies pay in vouchers, and I don't think any will be interested in going to the cost and hassle of arranging it for just one person. If you really insist on not opening a bank account (and you'll have to when you get a 'real' job anyway, no 'real' employer will pay you any way other than by BACS these days), then go for ABAi, they pay in real cash in the post.Dan

Aba-i do pay for some of their jobs in vouchers as well for certain clients! So sounds like it'd be the best best for a youngster.TWBM 2010 Wishlist:

I just said that I went with a colleague, who didn't know I was MS-ing, and when we asked for the bill he produced the voucher and gave it to the waiter. I said it would have been very obvious if I'd said "No! Don't use it! Let's pay full price!" lol
I think using the voucher the bill came to a couple of quid more than the reimbursement as we both had desserts and coffees. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
