My only concern is how to approach this job. I certainly don't want to get bogged down in sales patter; I've got 8 of them!

I'd strongly advise you to remove that link from your post (I've changed it, so don't worry about me quoting it!).

It contains your user ID and password in an encoded form that can easily be decoded.

UKMonkey - The alert that I posted for the London hotels was an overnight stay for 2 people. There were 3 dates during July. You had to order drinks in the bar, meals in the restaurant etc.

They disappeared in the blink of an eye after I posted it on the Alerts thread.

I posted this in good faith - don't take this the wrong way, but they way you jump on people for posting things seems a bit off sometimes. This is the 2nd time this morning. People won't bother posting if they get grief. I'd read the brief on the job, I saw what it involved.

I'm not sure if there is such a thing, as I saw them with my measly 122 pts. There have been lots of debates lately regards the RE points system, I'm not sure it came to any conclusion

If you think 122 points is measley, you'd be appalled at my 37 points!!! And I thought I was doing quite well for a newbie until I found out that someone (think it was pinkprincess) had over 180 and she'd started at the same time as me. Gutted...

Might have some work opportunities to travel to London frequently soon so hoping I can pick up some jobs to coincide with my visits down there. Providing I get what I've applied for - being on a committee to organise a national weekend event for youth theatre and a funding assessor for youth performance & visual arts bids!

Aww thanks! I think I'm in a fairly good position so will let you know... it'd be good to pick up a few train station jobs/lunches whilst I'm down in the big smoke really. You know you're getting obsessed with MS when you're more excited about the possible prospect of mystery shopping jobs rather than the job itself!

If I were you I would ring TNS - they are one of the companies who regularly wants 16-18 year olds. It does seem sensible to me that there may be lots of 16 year olds out there who don't have a bank account - perhaps they would appreciate the suggestion!

(of course, this does assume that MS companies LISTEN and ARE RESPONSIVE - you will quickly find out that this isn't the case. But some of them read this thread, so the suggestion is there for them.....

I can't imagine it'd be too unreasonable to expect a 16 year old to open a bank account to receive payments - I've had one since I was about 10, and a debit card since 13 (the youngest you can get them). I can't see why you'd expect a MS company to take up the suggestion of going to the expense and administration hassle of getting shopping vouchers to pay MSers in...

I opened a bank account when I was 16 no problem. Started being paid by BACS soon after - my first job was working in a curtain shop!!!

Id' rather get paid in real money than vouchers!
