Sorry to bump...but could somebody give me their advice please. The job is still sitting there and it has a very nice reimbursement :D. (Obviously it's last nights date now)

I think they would have expected it being done yesterday if you accepted it yesterday. However as it wasn't taken, I would take it now and contact them tomorrow to get the date changed.
Here I go again on my own....

I would click on the contact us box on the assignment details and send them a message saying you are interested but that date has expired so you would be prepared to do it on another date....or......accept it so it is in your assignments to do ,andthen get in touch and explain why you accepted it!Obviously you won`t be able to set a date and you may lose 2 points but I think it is a chance you have to take. After all they need the job doing!!

Thanks for the reply squeaky.......I think I will email them as you suggest and see if I get a reply. I'm a bit concerned though as it says its a Saturday visit, and if they re-allocate it to next Saturday I can't do it. So probably best not to accept it until I get an answer. Shame because as I said its a very nice reimbursement.

    Hi

I was in Asda yesterday and I saw a customer with a scanner scanning some items then putting them back on the shelves. Does anyone know what that's all about? Is it to do with mystery shopping?

Probably auditing or stock checking - you will probably find it wasnt a customer but either a staff member or a hired company to do the audit.

I used to work for a company called OCS and we used to get taken to shops such as supermarkets, hardware stores like B&Q etc, and we would spend all day or all night (depending what type of audit job it was) scanning items and counting.

They pay you up to the amount they told you to spend in each department. I assume it was the 3 departments . Clothes, coffee and food, with a budget of £** in each. So that is 3 x £**

I usually claim only the receipt amount but try and spend as close to the full amount of the budget as possible.
