Morning all.
I just did a station coffee shop job for RE, and while I was in there another customer completely lost the plot about a complaint. Literally shouting at the top of her voice, and sitting on floor refusing to move until she got a refund (all because she spilt coffee down her trousers and was saying the lid wasn't on the coffee properly.) The whole cafe couldn't help but overhear.
I thought the manager dealt with this admirably, but wasn't sure how much of it (if at all) I should mention in my report, since it's personal opinion, and although I could hear and see every word - wasn't really "my experience"
What do you think?0 -
I've had a couple of similar incidents and tend to include when they ask me to summarise my experience , only stating the facts though and not saying how well I thought the staff member performed .

It does say explain your visit from start to finish so you could mention that there was an incident whilst you were there that the manager dealt with in an efficient way. It is a positive comment to make.
How did you keep a straight face?
On one of my visits the manager was snogging his girlfriend in the back room.Wasn`t part of MY experience(no such luck} but was in my view.0 -

I'm not sure I did! I tried not to watch, so was instead looking at the customers faces but they seemed to range from smirks to disbelief. I just had to put my head down and read my magazine in the end. Maybe I should compliment them on the free entertainment they provided with my breakfast. :rotfl:0 -

Nah man, won't be around in the evening, going back home.0 -
If you thought they dealt with it well, then I would definitely compliment them on how they handled it. It's not often you get praise for something well doen - usually the other way round. You don't need to go into much detail. You could just say the manager had a difficult situation to deal with and you thought they handled it very well.0

There's no towns near you listed cos it only shows postcode areas it has jobs in, so it's not showing the areas near you cos there are no jobs in those areas. xMiss_Qwerty wrote: »Morning all.
