So i've just started Mystery shopping, and registered as self employed and i'm now designing myself a nifty little excel spreadsheet so I can keep track of things for the tax-man, but was wondering how detailed this needs to be. For example, do I need to work out mileage etc?

In mine I have two columns for mileage. One at 13p per mile, which is my actual cost for fuel and one at 40p per mile which is what I cliam for tax.

If you want a copy to look at PM me

I have my first job with ESA to do . Can anyone tell me if I have to enter the date I'm going to do the assignment on anywhere , like RE or GFK or do you just have to complete it before the final due date . Don't want to mess it up . I have clicked to accept it .
    Thanks everyone :A

Our friends at RE have sent me this email, twice, about two different jobs I did for them on Saturday:
    Thank you for your recently completed assignment to {details removed}

Unfortunately the report has been held up at our proof reading stage for the following reasons:

We cannot submit your report until we have clarification of this detail, which will hold up payment for this assignment.

Please email this information including the Job ID to proofreading@retaileyes.co.uk as a matter of urgency.

They forgot to include the reasons, in both emails.

The jobs have vanished from my pending list but not been paid (yet - although I've noticed they do seem to vanish for a little while when they've been proof read before being paid).

But what's going on? I have emailed back, but don't expect a response until Monday now.
    Happy New Year

Will you be going to Dublin? Storecheckers keep looking for people going to Dublin.

Someone else emailed me the other day asking for Rep of Ireland visits too. I think it might have been TNS.

We fly into Dublin but my DH hates Dublin (I think most non Dubliners do - bit like UK relationship with London I suppose - ironic that my DH is a Londoner ) - so no chance of a detour unless it was a night in a 5* hotel - it was more the redshop ones that are around today that might be at the right time of the month

I havent registered with store checkers so might get round to it now though just on the off chance....

phone them - I had my one and only query on a footwear job (it was something really pathetic that I had answered but obviously I had not repeated my self enough or used enough unnecessary words - and they docked me 2 points

Hi All, I'm back from my very wet holidays, 2 days sun and 5 days solid rain :( . NOT what I wanted after 3 days with no electricity before we went but at least we had a change of scenery and the TractorKids enjoyed themselves.

I'm more than happy to be back and delighted to see my own bed, the one in our lodge was tiny and so uncomfortable I've not slept well at all.

Added to which there was no mobile signal in the middle of Bodmin Moor so my purchase of the O2 Mobile broadband dongle was a waste of time.

So cheer me up and tell me what jobs I've missed - I bet I've missed TNS supermarkets and pizzas?

    TG xxxx

    RIP Sir Bobby :(:(:(
