Anyone else going through the heart wrenching experience of their baby leaving home for Uni ?? Its killing me !!!
My little one (ok she is 19 but still my baby) is flying the nest tomorrow and I am not finding it easy.
Though I would really enjoy the day when I had full access the the bathroom, less washing and housework and stress but now the day has come I realise just how much I am gonna miss her - Arghhhhhhhhh sob sob

Don`t worry cos they return at every oppurtunity bringing washing with them and eating you out of house and home. The booze cupboard gets ransacked and mine are always on the phone asking how to cook this and that. Enjoy the rest!!!

Does that mean we will be given a receipt without asking? I've never paid with card there before.

I didn't leave home when I went to uni. My parents weren't that lucky!! In fact I didn't leave home full time (did 6 mths at a time to travel) until I was 24!! Some of my friends were at home even longer. And my BIL only left this year he's 36 - only left with his wife (the both lived there) because they were having a baby! It's more and more common to stay longer these days.

You should get 2 receipts. One for the card transaction and one for the meal. If they only give you one then ask for the vat receipt as well.
