    I'm sure you all discussed it while I was on hols so I'm off to search the thread now for any tips ....

    i actually like it. I live in Sheffield and before I had to search for Sheffield, Hillsborough, Meadowhall, Broomhill etc (all different suburbs). To make matters worse, some jobs in Meadowhall would be listed as Meadowhall, others would be listed as Sheffield. Then there were the random jobs listed as High Street etc with not a clue where they were.

    The new search works by post code, so I search for Sheffield and it brings me everything up within the S postcode area (nothing at the moment). I think it is much more user friendly, so long as you know which postcode towns to search for, which they don't really explain.

    Anyway, I'm happy. I've got an Aba-i catalogue shop in town tomorrow, and a Gap sandwich shop. And my RE bet has just won £15 :beer:
    Happy New Year :beer:
  • Can anyone please help me with an audit I've done?
    Is the Sku the number of the item or the description?

    SKU = Stock-keeping Unit.

    It's a short code for the item. Could be the barcode, but it's usually much shorter, but may be displayed near the barcode.

    SKU = stock keeping unit. Each different item is called a unit.

    Suppose you were auditing tins of beans:

    1 individual tin of beans = 1 SKU
    Multipack of 4 tins of beans = 1 SKU
    1 individual tin of low sugar beans = 1 SKU

    Does that help?
    Here I go again on my own....

    There's no towns near you listed cos it only shows postcode areas it has jobs in, so it's not showing the areas near you cos there are no jobs in those areas. x

  • Thanks Becles, although you've totally confused me now! But I just need to say what was missing out of a list which is has numbers and descriptions of items so I'm going to use the numbers.
