I don't have a problem with asking for receipts in burger places etc - I do this often anyway as I can sometimes claim my lunch on expenses from work (if I'm away from the office, or having to do an overnight stay somewhere).

But surely nobody in a nightclub asks for a receipt for a drink? Especially just for one drink?

I joked that I'd just gone freelance and my accountant had told me to get a receipt for EVERYTHING - but not even sure the server heard me, they are so busy I doubt it really registered.

EDIT: Ha, replied before reading the rest of the thread - oh well. still a good reason to give.

Quiet for me too but then we are both in the same area of Suffolk, lol! Got two jobs lined up for next Saturday and that's it. Bookies and a torso shop.

Good morning all,

It really is quiet out there isn't it.......not even a burger in my area!

Oh well, lets hope it picks up this week.

On another note, can anyone tell me if they have uploaded a photo onto RE. Does this make a difference to the jobs you can apply for?

I can only see 3 for the whole of the UK

Hi everyone, well after a lovely relaxing day in the spa I took my wife out for an MS dinner at the satisfying train stop (hope that makes sense!) Food was fine, the service was awful! We had to wait 20 minutes for both starter and main plates to be cleared, the staff were rude at times and when the starter arrived before our drinks the girl serving us didn't bother to go and get the drinks so I had to flag someone down!
All in all we waited 50 minutes longer than we should have. Have done the report (RE) and now am waiting for some clarifications as I know they will query a bad report!

Me neither - just the few that have been hanging around for weeks. How totally depressig - was hoping to fill me August calender today - dream on !!
