Just accepted a food job on GR for a client I've not seen before - might be worth a look for those of you registered with them?

Me too and it's the same fish restaurant I did for RE just a week ago. The fee is not great but I've just checked the restaurant's website, they are running an offer of £12 for 2 course plus a side and a glass of wine so it's really good value and I love seafoods :p

No I'm not thinking they're trying to con me, I'd just be slightly concerned that they forget to cancel the DD or something and I'd have to jump through hoops to get the money back.

I'm obviously just too untrusting for my own good :o

Has anyone done one of the financial ones on TNS before? The ones where you have to sign up for a product. It states that head office will cancel your application before any direct debits come out but i've always been very skeptical about doing things like this. Are there ever any problems?

I've done a similar type of thing for GFK where you had to sign up for an annual membership of something, and then they cancelled it before the money was taken. It all went through fine.

Do you have online banking? If it gets close to the first payment date and the direct debit hasn't been cancelled, you can always cancel it yourself before any money is taken.
Here I go again on my own....

This is a good idea. I'll give it a look, and as long as I can suss it out i'll give it a go. Thanks Becles

This isn't a fish place! I dunno how you'd describe it tbh, but then again, I'm not into the whole naming clients and the like! ;)

There were 2 food jobs showing in my account but as soon as I accepted one the other one was taken. This is the first food job I have from GR ever since, I hope there'll be more to come :j

I did this one on the questionaire it clearly states you cant use the £12 offer because the dining time is from 6pm onwards or something and the promotion finishes earlier
Well it said it on mine
