Afternoon all, bit quiet on the job front and nothing booked for August either. Been trying out this new gap website so I am ready for the next release of jobs. i saw something a few posts back on it but it looked way to complicated.

I remember a couple of other shoppers mentioned a while back how service drastically improved once the staff thought they may be MSers....and it happened to me at the burger place over the weekend. As soon as I asked for a receipt, it was like a siren had gone off - fries and a drink appeared from out of nowhere, and it was like watching a slick military operation - at one point I swear there were 4 people involved in delivering my meal to the tray. So, I sat down, ate, and popped off to do the mandated visit to the toilets...which I actually needed to use. So there I am, happily peeing away....a knock on the door, and someone sticks their head round to see if 'everything is ok'! This is followed, again mid-pee, by a chap with a mop who proceeded to mop round the urinal as I used it! On reflection, he may have been trying to suggest my aim was bad....maybe I'll rewrite that report..... ;)

Just accepted a food job on GR for a client I've not seen before - might be worth a look for those of you registered with them?

I saw that but thought the fee was a bit pants :o I've done the mexican one for someone else (possibly RE) and the spend covered a 3 course family meal with drinks.

I don't really like eating out on my own, so I wouldn't have made any profit at all on GR's offerings :(
Oh that's reminded me......... when I was a student I worked in a (now defunct) record shop chain called 4 Play  and we had to wear staff shirts with the logo on. I'm sure you can imagine the kind of 'jokes' that we heard from customers - inevitable when you've got the words '4 Play' emblazoned across your left tit. :rotfl:

    :rotfl:

A friend works for a regional newspaper and the promo girls were going crazy. Some bright spark has got them in t-shirts with the newspaper name on the front and "easy to pick up....." written across their chests, and "....hard to put down" on their backs :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....

Hi, I'm new to this and was wondering if anyone could tell me which mystery shopping websites are best to get registered with. GAP appears to get mentioned alot, is this a good one? I'm on mat leave at the moment so have spare time and lots of debt to pay off.

I'm presuming these sites are free to register with. How does it all work and what kind of extra cash could I expect to make?:rotfl:

Has anyone done one of the financial ones on TNS before? The ones where you have to sign up for a product. It states that head office will cancel your application before any direct debits come out but i've always been very skeptical about doing things like this. Are there ever any problems?

Well all policies have a cooling off period ( forget how many days but at least 7) Therefore even if TNS did let you down, you can still get out of it.

However I don't think TNS and A---- which are both reputable companies are going to con you.
