Sorry this isn't mystery shopping related but I entered Charlotte in a competition and some nasty people are attacking her on her page and voting her down. If anyone has a minute to spare, she'd appreciate some votes to get her score back up. You have to click on the stars to vote:

Your daughter is lovely, she's got my vote.

Does anyone else get frustrated that when most MS companies ring you, it comes up as Private Number? I hate answering calls from Private Numbers - especially when I'm at work. I rarely answer, and figure that if it's that important, they'll leave a message.

I imagine I'm probably missing out on job offers, but I'd probably only end up turning them down anyway.
Just catching up on the thread and yes, this is definitely my pet peeve also! They don't often leave messages either, but if they do then I make sure I ring back as soon as I can!
I know I miss out on MS jobs because of this, but MSing is a side thing for me, and not worth jeapordising my main job for.

I have an online order to do for a website - EMS - the site is offering free delivery today, if you enter a code. Would it be ok to use the code, do you think?

    The brief doesn't say that you can't . . .

If you were a normal customer you would! There is a comments section in the delivery section of the assignment form so I would take a chance and do it.

I don't really understand why anyone who didn't have any underlying symptoms would want Tamiflu anyway - it reduces your symptoms by a day, but gives you the runs and makes you feel nauseous  I blame the media for this fiasco, people wouldn't normally ask for a prescription for mild flu - what a load of panic over nothing - makes me mad

Sorry, I'll get off my high horse in a minute and talk about misery shopping in a minute!

At what point did I say I didn't have any underlying syptoms ?

I am in isolation with swine flu fever diagnosed by my GP not some stupid help line
I am going to miss my daughters 21st birthday on Saturday
So think before you assume !!!!!!!!

My comment was an attempt at humour at a time that is far from funny for me

Why do so many people on this website think they have a right to judge people it puts people off and is not in the spirit of the board at all
"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."

All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.

Log in, that brings you to the homepage. On the left hand side it should say available assignments and tell you how many. Have you set your defined areas?

On the left hand side, when you log in, is a menu saying:

    Assignments
    Active (x)
    Available (y)

x and y will be numbers. y is the number of jobs available for you to choose from. While you're on probation you can only see pub jobs and a few other, so if you can see one that's near you, it's worth selecting it if you can do it. Once you've done your first one you'll be able to see more clients.

If you can't see anything, then go into the link that says "My defined areas" (further down on the left) and check what areas you're set up to shop. You may be able to add a bigger area if you can travel around. Note that any changes on this page take 24 hours.
    Happy New Year

Thanks Andy and Squeaky, i thought it was on the left, theres nothing so I'm just going to have to be patient and wait. Its tempting to sign up with some more companies just to get a MS job but i'll wait until something comes up on GAP or RE.
    Thanks again
