I'm having a really blonde moment, could someone point my in the right direction to find out if I have given Bare my bank details? I have completed my first job with them and it has been marked (feel like i'm back in schools:rotfl:) so I think it should be paid on the 25th, however I cannot find the right place to check that I have actually given them my bank details:rotfl::rolleyes:
TPAMFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -
I just got an email from Bare, that says to fill in a small questionnaire if you are interested in a new project. Can anyone see how to get to the questionnaire? I've tried clicking all over the email but no joy so far.0

I think it's in the Extended Profile. Some random form has been placed at the bottom of the window. It's a bit odd so you might need to email the name listed in that secion.0 -
hi i am trying to work out if I should or pay or opt out from Class 2 NI using the exemption certificate. I have checked and if I had been self employed for 26 weeks and then needed maternity pay it would be £30 and if I had paid it would be £136. So a significant difference. Is there also a difference when it comes to pension and other things? At the moment I feel like it would be best to pay it as then I know I have covered it.
Also whilst checking all of this I "think" that whilst I have been not working I should have also have been paying NI to make sure I do not have any breaks in my contributions - this means I am short by 15 months. We have been on working families tax credit for 12 months of this period only and in with my redundancy payout in jan 08 I also got 3 months pay for which I was taxed and NI. So I am guessing that means I am short by only 12 months?
I also have a son (not my partner's) IF that makes a difference and I have not had the letter through at the end of the year to say I am short and need to make contributions. So I am now very confused about all of it....
If anyone could help that would be fantastic :beer:0 -

I think whilst you are claiming child benefit, your NI contributions (for pension at least) are protected.

thank you so very much i was getting a bit worried! mum had told me ages ago that I should be fine but then I started reading things and was not so sure! Will make sure once son is 16 (this year) if I am not self employed for some reason that I definitely still make contributions to make sure I am always covered.
I digress I know but.... My poor great uncle (when he was with us) had a short fall so his pension was reduced and so had to be topped up by pension credit once that existed as supposedly he had missed 5 years - at the time he was overseas fighting in the army during WWII so made me exceptionally mad that a hero like him missed out on money that he should definitely have been entitled to :mad::mad: he risked his life in terrible conditions for this country and then was treated like that - anyhow dont get me started as I will be here all day ...... this is what happens if your grandma has a big impact on you as a child and you hear about their war days:o:o
