Just registered as self employed.....all seems a bit too easy! I just filled in a quick form online and that was it...is that right?
Also I noticed this on the HMRC sight:
'If you do not register immediately you begin self-employment, you may have to pay an initial penalty. The form you complete gives us the information needed to register for income tax and National Insurance purposes. Further penalties can also arise the longer you leave it to register when payments are due and have not been met.'
I thought you get three months grace?
Oh well i've done it now anyways, possibly a bit premature as I haven't actually got my first job until Saturday, d'oh!0 -

Has anyone done the audits before on ESA? how are they?
hi there, I did some last week, had a panic about them (see an earlier post) as I didnt know how I would remember items, put them on my phone as suggested, one store was no longer open, and the other 3 hardly had any items, although in one I did keep getting asked if I was ok, the other two I didnt get noticed at all but it was lunchtime and fairly busy so I was quite inconspicuous. Not as bad as I had thought0 -

Just had RE on the phone about a tech/store I did last month
The store is saying it was not me as they don't remember serving me
I must of got someone else to do it for me
Isn't that the whole bloody point, that im not memorable !
They only remember serving men that day  hmm now i'm blonde, slim and have been told I am a very attractive woman so not sure if I should be flatered or notat being mistken for a geeza
They dont understand how they got such a poor report as they have done well before, hmmm lets see poor service filthy store & lack of product knowledge just about covered it
See all those who just tick yes to everything for easy money make it harder for us who take it seriously
LOL"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."
All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.0 -
I did a tech store the other month for RE too. Luckily for me the store i was in was great, really clean and tidy and the staff member was fab. Didn't you have to buy something and take a pic outside for that one though? That would prove it.
I'm sure you are attractive though, don't worry about it!0 -

Oh dear! What did you tell RE?
I'm praying that my first couple of jobs are good ones....sounds like the stores get a little bitter if they get a bad report!! :eek:0 -
I haven't had any of my report for RE questioned, touch wood. If I ran a shop, and I had a mystery shop write a bad report about it - I'd rather just get my shop into gear and improve it, rather than looking like a sore loser and contest it. If you've got a receipt and can prove you were there - they're just going to look even more incompetent!TWBM 2010 Wishlist:

3. Some nice food!0 -
RE query so often, it is a major pain in the neck. I had phone calls about a pet shop report last week, just because it was negative I'm sure. They were saying that I hadn't asked enough questions, I had to say exactly what I asked (which was already in the report). I thought we were meant to not prompt them? The young lad that served me was most annoyed to be interrupted from his chat with the security guard. He was really rude, pretty much saying that I was stupid. I asked him 3 questions, to which he snapped derogatory answers at me, then when I asked how long the food would last, he told me to look on the packet, so I gave up trying to get more information from him, as I had covered the scenario. But apparently I should have carried on asking him questions as he physically backed away from me.0

I think that you should post a pic and we could all vote against whether we think that you look male or female!
How ridiculous - As you have said, we are meant to be anonymous! What does frustrate me is that certain burger establishments make it their business to find out via CCTV who their MS's are, and then make sure that a floor show goes on - even when I visited just for a quick bite! It's all good fun though (and as for the Pizza delivery company that put 'Mystery Shopper' on the receipt!!!!!). It's good for getting excellent delivery every time though!0
