I think it's quite simple - UKMonkey has listed what "area" a postcode falls into. Say my postcode begins B98 - I can see from the list that my postcode falls under "Birmingham" - even though I don't live in Birmingham.

So if I look under Birmingham on Gap, I can see areas near me.

But surely you can work that out quite easily, knowing your postcode begins B and Birmingham is the largest and nearest city to where you live?

    Maybe it's just me...

Guess I'm not young enough! :-)

How young are you? The cut-off for those jobs is 21 years and 4 months IIRC. :-)

No no don't answer UKM lets have a game........... everyone gets one guess

My guess is actual age about 24 years
Age in relation to cynicism (and yes I did need to look up the spelling!) is about 240 years......;)
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

You got that one spot on mate.

Unbelievable that we have had post codes for over 30 years and it still seems to confuse the women folk.

Well you win some and you lose some.

Do what I do, just add another one to the ignore list. I won't be offended.

GAP gets brownie points from me... it's so much easier now!

Monkey... you strike me as 18 going on 81! But don't tell me... you had a really rough childhood, you brought up all your siblings from a very early age and thats why you grew up fast.
