Thanks for all your help guys, it's much appreciated. :) Does the fill in the questionnaire within 8 hours rule 100 percent need to be stuck to do you know as well?
It's always best to try and stick to the MS companies deadlines. But I have on 1 or 2 occasions posted Gap reports the following day and have been paid. (Only because I did a shop away from home and had a problem with the WAN where I was staying.)

Last time I looked at the post office scenarios, the brief had changed a month or 2 ago and said that you had to spend a minimum amount, even if getting a POP. This did not use to be the case and in the past I have been paid when just posting a packet and getting a POP. Not sure if anyone has tried this since they changed the briefs?

I hope they're sure about it as I don't want to have to spend £x.xx :rotfl:

But if they give you an option to post a letter surely no letter costs x.xx?

I know, but it does state on the brief that you must spend £x.xx so i always do.
I have sent parcels before that have cost that. Or bought stamps.

I CAN CONFIRM I HAVE RECEIVED PAYMENT FROM GAP FOR THE FULL £5 REIMBERSMENT + FEE FOR SENDING 1x RECORDED LETTER WHICH CAME TO £1.20

Hope that clears it up :)

I just pulled up the old brief just to double check the date, it was in the May wave when I last did one, end of May :)

You can get a POP from sending any type of letter (you just have to ask), be it 1st/2nd class or recorded, although a POP for just a normal letter wont have the recorded-tracking number on it or anything. The only reason I sent mine recorded as it was a letter going to the small claims courts and I needed proof that it got there.

    And from the brief:

    * You must either spend £5 in the shop and retain the receipt OR send a letter and retain the proof of posting to validate your visit

So I looked at that and presumed the letter could be any amount, it came to £1.20 and Gap accepted it :)

Thank you! I have done loads of stamp jobs but always been told I must spend the £x.xx. I have 2 tomorrow so i will post a 2nd class letter to myself and get a POP. :T

Usually what I do when I dont have a letter to send is spend the £5 on books of stamps... that way you can send loads of letters for free :)

But since that in June, they have changed the brief, to include the requirement to spend £4.50 when getting a POP. It has changed recently, so unless someone has been paid since the brief changed, it would seem ill advised not to follow the brief.

RE Pharmacy Dilemma - when I first looked the pharmacy opposite my doctors wasn't available but one a few miles away was so I accepted that.

I've just done my daily check for jobs and the pharmacy opposite is now showing, this would be so much easier as it won't involve driving and which would fit in much easier round my full time job.

I've never released a job before! Do I release, take a dint to my pride and a points penalty then accept the closer one?

Yes Yes and Yes again! I wouldn't even think about it!
