I'm guessing MS companies must be getting some sloppy people on board now, as it's been noted on here the increase in last minute jobs popping back up, the GFK email that was posted earlier and having to confirm and double confirm that you are going to do jobs. Personally I've noticed an increase in begging calls to do last minute jobs or repeat jobs because it hasn't been done properly first time. That's not directed at anyone on here, before anyone takes it the wrong way. I know things do happen and we all have to juggle things or release occasionally.
That's the MS companies own silly faults for going on recruitment drives. They are ending up with unreliable people!
Btw, I think your paragraphs are disgraceful. The first one is too long, the last one is too short, and the third and fourth should really be just one paragraph. I'm shocked people like you dare post really.Dan

Would strongly advise against pimping him out, someone I used to work with got done last week for doing just that: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/kent/8138315.stm
He thought he could make some extra pennies by pimping his wife out lol

Something i left out my last post about new MS's, I could be on ESA and income support with my illness, i would earn more, but i would rather work part-time and do MS to get me out and about rather than sit in with self pity, we all do it for different reasons, and I am very Thankful to this board for support & encouragement.

I have a few questions about the Gap Stamp jobs, they'll probably sound really silly I warn you!
When it says in the brief that I can - post a letter and obtain a POP (Proof of Postage) stamp, does that literally mean I go in with a letter that has no stamp and say can I post this please? And do the members of staff usually stamp the receipt with out you having to ask?
They also expect you to ask two questions to the member of staff and as I don't drive I don't really understand the questions! I want to be sure of what I'm doing and asking other wise I'm going to look so ridiculously obvious; am I allowed to post what the questions are on here?
Any help would be loverly.0 -

To the first part, yes. Just go in with the letter and say you need proof of postage. There's nothing odd about that, often people need it for important letters, so they won't be suspicious at all. They will automatically give you a receipt since you've asked for POP.
As far as I'm aware you're allowed to post them. Wait for somebody else to say you can though because I'm not 100% on that.Dan

Yes, you go into the post office with a letter with no stamp and say "can I post this xxxxx class please" - xxxx being whatever class you want to send.
You ask for a proof of posting (usually comes in receipt form now, instead of a written stamped certificate like it used to) and you upload that receipt to Gap. If you are sending a letter, ignore the £5 spend limit. The spend limit only applies if you are making purchases, such as books of stamps, envelopes, parcel tape etc
The questions I have always done relate to car tax queries. Just ask the questions how they are written on the brief - you are basically asking for a leaflet and asking if it is possible to tax the car with the "New Keeper Supplement" and they should say "Yes, within 3 months of purchasing the new car" - if they dont, they have failed0 -

I hope they're sure about it as I don't want to have to spend 4.50. :rotfl:
But if they give you an option to post a letter surely no letter costs 4.50?0 -

No, but it'd be advisable to if possible. I've been unable to keep it on a few occasions, you get a few reminder emails, they don't take it off you the second it gets to 8 hours.Dan
