OMG, I am really impressed with Gap's efficiency! I collected a box from the local post office and it was the equipment for the coffee job from Gap. It arrived exactly in 2 days as the guy had told me. Too bad all the jobs in my area are gone0

I did quite a few jobs today and the last 2 phone jobs were actually quite fun! One of them was amusing because the 2 salesmen were like Tweedle Dee and Tweddle Dum. They had clearly had a slow day and were in a sprightly mood and were so funny and friendly and happy and bouncy!
The other one I did was good for a different reason - I really hit it off with the consultant! He was really cute and was flirting with me and I soo wanted to stay and chat and see if we could go out for a drink sometime, but I couldn't stay in there all afternoon as my timings would have gotten messed up . I left so it would be on the cameras and considered going back in again but had second thoughts ... do you think it is 'conflicting interests' or un-professional if I go back and see him?!BerryDelight wrote: »I did my first Grassroots job yesterday and was amazed when submitting the results that your limited to 255 characters!! When they ask things like 'how would you assess the staff member' it becomes quite a challange to limit your answer whilst being grammatically correct!
Tell me about it!!
I did my first report for them a couple of days ago and it was ridiculous - especially when they say "make sure you explain point 1, 2 and 3". How do they expect you to answer properly if they don't give you adequate space?!Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x0 -
Evening all!
Just a quick question...am applying to a new MS company and just filling out the form for them. One of the questions asks 'which other MS companies you work for'...am a bit dubious about answering this, given the secretive nature of MS work - is it a trick question? If I answer it, will they turn round and go 'ha! We have caught you out, you're a rubbish mystery shopper and give away all your secrets':rotfl:Or am I just being a bit paranoid? Any help appreciated, really want to get it finished tonight! Thankyou in advance xxx

I thought this when applied too!
For the first couple I did, I put that I wasn't working for any other MS companies - because technically I wasn't, as I hadn't been accepted to them yet ... and that also covered my suspicions just in case!
Now though, wen I signed up to 2 more recently, I truthfully put that I do work for other MS companies and it was fine. It is probably partly to see whether you have any experience in MS'ing or not. Although I still have suspect that some of them may not like you working for others, even though I have no evidence of that!
There is someone on here who works for an MS company - I don't know how often he/she os on here, but they may be able to help you better as my advice is my own guesses. :rolleyes:Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x0 -

I always told them, and never got rejected. I think it demonstrates experience. And you didn't agree not to name MS companies when you signed up - only their clients. Just make sure, if they ask about MS experience, you put the sectors you've MSed in, not the names of the stores.Dan

Fingers crossed!

For anyone who does GAP pizza jobs - I just noticed one of their competitors is doing a special offer of buy one get one free on pizza, but only on Tuesdays. So I rescheduled, cos I guess if they tell you there's an offer on the phone when you order and you refuse, it would be pretty weird.
So if you're going to accept a job, try if you can to do it on a tuesday so you get more for your reimbursement!Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x0
