I am now an active member of RE!:T I got 12 points from the assignment the other day:D I am happy!!! Pity all the ones up at the mo are airside heathrow and chemists!
I have 4 gap ones next week I hope they go just as well!:heartsmil:love::kisses3::kisses2::whistle:0 -
Just wanted to post a little warning - I have received a spam email with big bold lettering saying INCOME TAX REFUND. It tells me I am entitled to a refund of £188.50 and just click this link to claim etc etc etc.
I know it's spam because I haven't paid tax anyway, but I know some of you will have. I've not seen this particular phishing email before so it's new to me, although I guess you may all have seen it already and think this is a useless post. I just figured if I haven't come across it before, someone else may also be new to it - so be warned - it's SPAM!!!0 -

I have NEVER not been paid in all of my years as a MSE (that's Mystery Shopping Expert! :rotfl:)
Yes, nice up here as well - going to Aberdeen for the weekend but only managed to fit in a phone visitStill hoping for more!
lucky you! i have two non payment jobs from last week - 1 with GRs still cant see the report to see the problem and 1 for GAP. Job for GFK they called me back about again and said I will now get a half fee as a goodwill gesture as I had done the visit and had done the report  I did one for them yesterday in a big bank so found the machines and have last one of these tomorrow. did my first TNS supermarket earlier and have my next one in a bit - im still feeling lousy with cramps and headache so dont know whats wrong with me this week. Had a dire time with first catalogue 2 stage visit earlier in week as they could not take my card and i dont have a 2nd one and brief said to not use cash. I now have to go back and redo the whole thing (using cash)- I was hoping I would get a partial payment becuase I have a printout from till as proof I was there. Not been a good week of work for me so far!0 -
I just did a phone shop for GAP, then remembered I did actually have a real problem with my phone, so I went across the road to my actual provider to sort it out.
I so wish I had been MS'ing that store!
I was approached immediately and didn't have to wait around. The staff were so unbelieveably friendly and helpful and they solved my phone problem AND offered me a better contract AND drew attention to an upgrade that I could claim if I wanted it AND gave me an extra free sim card with 300 free minutes and texts already loaded onto it 'just in case' ! Then the woman wrote her name on a brochure and handed it to me, saying to feel free to ask for her if I needed more help from that company again.
I just couldn't believe it!
Why can't the phone stores I have on my assignment be like that? I always get sullen consultants or they're very friendly but have no clue what they're talking about so I have to give them a bad mark (which is a shame sometimes). And when have I been able to get hold of a business card or get someone to write their name on a brochure for me during a mystery shop? Not Once!! I always have to grab a leaflet on the way out myself.
Plus, my actual phone company is one that GAP does assignments for, but I have never seen this particular store on their list - do you think we might only get set to the stores that they know are not that good or need a bit of a kick up the a*** to improve?Slowly working towards earning enough money (through various ventures) to live unworriedly, treat my family and sleep under a lovely roof. x0 -

Just filling ion my first invoice for Assosia, what do I put as the invoice date? I'm thinking it would simply be today's date, but not sure as it seems too obvious.
Anyone??0 -
I've not done any work for Assosia, but I would usually expect the invoice date to be the date on which it was created, e.g. today's date.
If anyone has done the flights for Bare, do you know if the fee is paid for both flights, or just 1? e.g. if it says £10 then will I just get £10, or will I get £20? Thanks.0 -

It's in total. It's a round number for the whole job, which equals €xx.50 each leg.0 -
Another silly question over here! I'm due to go on holiday soon and was thinking about signing up for an airside job. However, I wondered if you still have to get the report in within the usual 24/48 hours? If so, i don't think I could manage it!
I don't really want to lug my laptop with me and the hotel i'm staying at charges $14.50 per day for internet access!!!
