As has already been mentioned, The Office does not accept freebie email addresses, due to problems with spam etc, any one registering with a free email address will be automatically deleted.

It does state this on the simple registration form

I think the point is been missed by most people
Here-we're a sub-forum of another sub-forum (Up your income) of a forum (MSE) we have limited space-any new threads get mixed up with Avon and PC jobs from home and Dooyoo and whatever. Nice as it would be to have lots and lots of sections -it simply isn't practical here-and for many it's MS starting point and those who want to do more than dabble will look for other resources as time goes by. Just because it isn't all things to all MS-ers is not a bad thing though !

It doesn't have to be either/or

The Office has both, a serious section related to work and a chat section related to errrrmmm chat :rotfl:

That's what i like about the Office, the fact that it has a dedicated thread each day for chatter, and everything else is on topic.

I've not joined in with the chatter there as I'm new. I have posted job alerts a couple of times, which is why I'm particularly disappointed that my account has been suspended.

Exactly Duchy, it wouldn't work on MSE to have sub forums as it isn't a place dedicated to just ms'ing.

There is no reason why people can't be members of both as long as ideas are not stolen from each other and posts not copied

Join the proper MS forums if you are serious, if you want to chat then stay here :D

Don't suppose you are a member of the other serious forum are you BM, the one that is invite-only? I'd like to join, but it's invite only.

why? I was in the middle of making a response to duchy when ukmonkey posted and also trying to eat my cheese toasted sandwich before it went cold, oh and btw, I was posting a response already to monkey when you posted, just in case you think I only responded because of you!

Does this mean if i post an alert on MSE, then go to post it on MSTO then I'd be breaking the rules? :rotfl:
