Had a phone call at 9 o'clock last night from Gyp begging me to do a stamp shop for them - it's the other side of town, in a street I've never heard of, so presumably it was listed as the street name on their jobs available list?
If they'd listed it under the town name, I would have probably taken it anyway, and now they've had to bribe me with 2 petrol jobs to do it!! :rotfl:
Despite my better judgement, I've just picked up 3 GR jobs as well... :eek:0 -

Coffee is good for you now according to reports yesterday, so drink up:

I am having a bad day
got bad stomach cramps so could have done with a day at home resting. Anyhow I did a bank visit for GFK 20miles away. It is a teeny branch with just a walkway that leads to two counters and two members of staff with leaflets on the wall. Nothing else there. I asked about relevant account and did my counter enquiry - all with the same member of staff who checked if i banked with them and i said no. There were not any automated machines of any sort and queue out of the door as I left. Anyhow I came home and did all the report and called GFK as I had to override to submit my report becuase there were not automated options and they told me to put all details in report which I did. Also said I would revisit if necessary to confirm (I thought I could try discreet photos if necessary as proof). Anyhow they called me back and told me my report is invalid becuase of this and becuase I have done my work wrong I am not going to be paid and visit will be reallocated (deadline was today so not sure how thats possible). Anyhow I am very upset as I did everything I could in a tiny branch and I offered to revisit as I will be in same town later today and I get treated like crap IMHO
Ive got two more visits for them tomorrow at some bank (different enquiry) and I think one of the branches will also be very small as in small town as well so I do not know whether to now do the job or not incase I have the same problem again. I do not see how its my fault if the branch does not have these facilities and thus I dont get paid becuase their notes say this branch does have these things. I am very upset as I am feeling poorly as well plus GAP emailed me in middle of all of this to tell me they are also not paying me for a phone job last week. I am most upset about this one though especially as I have two more jobs tomorrow and I do not want the same thing to happen. Has anyone else had this with very small branches?

Hi Angel,
Whoa you are busy this week eh!!! Got TNS job allocated to me Sunday, got the call yesterday late afternoon to ask what time, if you want i can PM you later about it if it comes up again, you know what to expect??? looks fairly easy though.....well see!!!
Not too busy this week, got department store and REALLY expensive lingerie shop, have turned down alot as it is the boyfriends birthday....will have to catch up on more next week!!!
Hi If you want to PM me the details that would be great so I know what to expect for next time. The one for me was quite a drive away and I think parking would be very expensive so I was worried I might not make anything as it is.0 -

Sorry to hear youre not having a good day on top of not feeling well...... I have done some of the small bank branches for GFK but fortunately they have all had a 'red telephone' or some form of machine (not like the ones in the bigger branches) which my brief has covered (although not the photo in the brief IYKWIM) .... I guess that doesnt help much really but I wanted to reply to wish you well anyway . I hope that when the next person reports back the same as you that they will realise and award your payment then .0 -

I've queried this with them before, I spent ages sending them a list of all spelling errors and faults - suggesting they could use me for data cleaning (for a fee!)
But they are not allowed to tamper with it - it is data from the client - I do well out of it too as there is a place listed locally which is way off the mark - strangely I'm the only one who ever picks up the job.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

I'm quite happy with the extra petrol jobs... I must remember not to accept the stamp shop if I see it again, and hope they phone me again!0 -

thanks I am angry as well as poorly and feel like going back in and taking photos and emailing them to them as proof that theres nothing there! I just hope other small branch tomorrow has something there. Last batch of GFK bank jobs I had to release as they confirmed I could do them even though scenario notes were weird and then when I emailed back to tell them they were wrong about me I was then told to release them. So that was my first attempt at doing some for them and this is now my second attempt so so far not good at all for meI would rather release them all than go to the effort to do them and the expense and time and then not even be paid like today. In this time I could have done a job for someone else who actual values me. Anyhow have to do 40mile round trip again in half an hr to get son from work experience so I am going to get a tea and hope that if i eat something cramps might go - ive taken medicine but not worked
at this rate I am going to be coming in and going to bed and leaving cooking of tea to family as in between Ive also got the groceries for them. I have cold options and microwaveable options if need be in the fridge now if I am not able to cook
fingers crossed son has had good first day at work experience - i dont get all emotional but last night i was thinking about first time i took him to creche when he was under 2 and I started college and now Im driving him to a work place for two weeks of work - in my head hes still little
:o:o i think i need another toddler around to distract me and keep me busy but my youngest one is now the dog who is nearly 5 :rotfl:

Hey, I've been accepted as a mystery shopper with Grassroots but they wanted me to enter my bank details online. Before I do so I was wondering if any one has had any problems with them. Thanks.0
