Am I just being thick? How many clients does Abai roughly have? At the moment I've only got 2, and searching for various versions of the web address doesn't seem to be doing much either.

Any PMs with a link in the right direction get a golden star for this very confused girl!

Without checking they have around 8 clients.

Just type their web address into google with "site:" before it.

I did my first Tern job today - just have to get report in now but connection is going nuts so will have to wait till this evening when its fixed - started an RE one and then lost all my work becuase of my connection problems :((((

I recently did my first job for Tern (finally!) and got 10/10 for it, with an comment about how good my report was. I reckon Tern are really good, it's just a shame that they hardly have any clients. I'd advise you to spend time making sure that you do a particularly good job of the report.

Oh no, that's rubbish. I hope you hadn't done too much.

I phoned RE at lunch time to sort out a query they had with my report, and it turns out they just wanted me to confirm what I'd already written which seemed a bit pointless but I've been awarded all my points and payment is no longer pending so I must have done something right.

I wrote an awful report (as in a bad report on the sales advisor) at the weekend so I'm waiting for the client to question that one... one of the rudest people I have ever met. It was for a travel agent and my breif told me to be flexible with dates as I wanted to get the best deal etc but she refused to even look at holidays for me until I had a specific date in mind and told me that if I wasn't going to book today there was no point coming in as I was just wasting my time (and hers presumably!). Didn't show me any resorts, refused to give me a brochure, was very snappy and curt and so I hope she feels a bit bashful once she sees her report.

I personally managed to find an additional 5 clients by googling and using the helpful hints given on here! :T

I had this on Saturday too. Was out MSing a shop, and had 45 minutes to kill before I could go back for my refund, so after going to a stationery shop to get my receipt copied, i thought I'd pop into a Travel Agent to price up a late deal.

I went in, and approached one of the advisors, and said "I'm looking to see whether you have any late deals going to XX".

She replied with "When are you looking to travel?"

(I asked for a late deal you dumb b*tch, isn't that a silly question?! I didn't say that, I'm too polite, believe it or not!)

So I said "Well...whenever really, I can go anytime"

She said, getting the t*t on with me "Well I need a date in order to search"

(In hindsight I should've just walked out and told her to shove it, but I didn't)

So I said as sarcasticly(sp?) as possible: "Well, take your pick, tomorrow...the day after...the day after that...next week...the week after that...WHEN-EVER"

What is wrong with people !!!!!!, she clearly was not enjoying being in a stuffy office on a glorious Saturday afternoon. Either that or she didn't pull the night before, or it was the time of the month.

I reckon it was a combination of the three.

I wouldn't mind, but the destination that I mentioned should have had her begging for my business, this wasn't exactly the Costa Del Sol, if you know what i mean (not that there's anything wrong with the Costa Del Sol, I'm not knocking it!).

    ARGH!!!

UKMonkey - that sounds SO close to my experience! I wonder if it's the same chain. I was just so shocked someone could be so rude, when they ought to be hankering after sales. Like I wrote in my report, I would definitley not return to the store. Ever again. And I'd advise anyone I came in contact with to do the same!!!!

It's the first truly awful report I've writen.

This wasn't one of the major chains, it was one I've never heard of, but when I went around the corner into a chain Travel Agents (Thomson I think, dunno, can't remember) I asked the advisor there if the other one was an independant, she said they were insofar as they didn't belong to a holiday company (i.e TUi, Thomas Cook, etc) but they did have more than one shop.

I'm b*ggered if I can remember the name though.

The weirdest thing just happened on GR...

I was just looking (out of curiosity) on the "unavailable jobs" bit to see what the details were for the jobs I'd missed out on. I clicked on one (a mystery phone call) and the status said it was still available!

So I clicked a date and confirmed acceptance, and now it appears on my "assigned" jobs bit.

Is this a glitch or has anyone had this happen to them before?! I'm quite chuffed if I do have the assignment, but is it worth checking with GR before completing the assignment and then not getting paid?

Just checked on mine and the same thing has happened. I originally ignored it anyway because the location is nowhere near me, not realising it was a phone call :o.
I've accepted the assignment now but I dont know whether I should have done or not
