I'm used to it now-it doesn't bother me. I just write wordy sentences.

Erm but it's four now -three at a terminus and one at a stop on the way home

I've noticed a few greedy and self serving posts over recent weeks too-and I don't see the point in booking jobs you probably can't do -simply out of greed or for the sake of saying "I have XX number of jobs" when knowing there is no way you can complete them all. Makes all of us look bad IMO. Also it makes it harder for anyone cancelling a job for a genuine reason.
Book a job if you can do it-not if you *might* and if you know you can't do the dates and hope the MS company is desperate enough to move the dates then leave it for someone who CAN do the job as per brief. Same goes for claiming the job isn't profitable enough-do the maths before accepting the job -or take the loss (and keep the MS company thinking you are reliable too)
I had a super day MSing on Thursday with 14 jobs:eek: Then I got home and found someone had released 3 literally in the same buildings as the ones I had done:mad: I could have done them as well without any problem.

Now they are still sitting there with an expired date and no doubt GAP will call me tomorrow begging me to do them. I deliberately booked all my jobs for the same day in order to minimise travelling time and expenses. As someone selfishly released them I will have to incur more time and costs or think up a good reason to tell GAP why I can't do them:rolleyes:

To be fair you can't assume the person who released them didn't have a good reason. We all have times when life bites us on the bum and my moan isn't at those who cancel for good reason but for those who accept *knowing* they may not be able to do them.

Fourteen jobs is fab-I think my nine tomorrow is probably the most I've ever attempted in one day

Yes that's true. I was making the assumption based upon my previous experience of often seeing these type of jobs released at the last minute. They are the ones where you have to arrange in advance to be escorted onto the site. I suspect that some people don't realise this when they book them and/or they don't read their instructions in time to be able to make the arrangements.

Fourteen is my record. However they were all ones I had done before so I knew exactly where I was going and what to do therefore I knew it was feasible. It was a long day though and one of the hottest days of the year:o

Why would you want to make a loss on these:confused: I can understand that food type jobs are usually loss making but there is no spend attached to the car jobs.

Not a 'real' loss - a 'paper' loss, nudge, nudge, wink, wink - geddit?
