help! i have just had through supermarket notes for TNS visits. These are supermarkets and not smaller stores (apart from one that is in a city centre) and I have 9 to do. I have no idea what I am reading

(this is all made up as a scenario so someone can explain to me what I should be doing)

For example if I had counters I had to vist as:
    grocery
    pizza counter
    toiletries

and then my shopping list has among other items:
spinach and ricotta pizza (in store pizza counter)
spinach and ricotta pizza (pre packed item)

does this mean if store does not have a pizza counter you buy the pre packed instead?

also for the stores where I have not been told to buy a pizza do i ignore the shopping list?

Sorry about this but I am very very confused as to what to do. I have printed out all the sheets I need and I have read them - I am thinking 9 stores is not helping as they all have completely different counters and most do not have the ones I am supposed to check. Also how long to we spend in stores if they are smaller?

if any experts also doing this months scenario could help me or pm me that would be fantastic - I hope I am not the only newbie idiot :D I have been thrown as half the things on the shopping list I dont eat and the counters are not on my lists, also if we have a set figure to spend can we buy other items not on shopping list as at most of my stores I am going to be way under from the list I have?

I have just read through my notes again, the items on the shopping list are the items you are to assess....... from what i am reading on mine it doesn't specify you have to buy these but check to make sure they are all good enough to buy... if that makes sense, i have normally spent more than the amount of the reimbursement but just got back what they have allowed.....

Hi need some urgent help if anyone can advise! I'm just about to order a pizza delivery for a competitor store through GAP. I need to order medium pizza and side, which cost more than the reimbursement. Happy enough with that, as I'm getting cheap pizza, but just wondered if we are allowed to order via a meal deal if one is recommended and works out cheaper. Just think it would seem strange if I said no and wanted to pay more!

The one and only time I did one of these, the MOS on the phone told me the meal deal would work out cheaper, and I accepted to avoid sounding suspicious. Explained this in the report and got paid okay. HTH.

Has anyone got paid from Assosia yet for invoices due on the 30th June? Mine usually goes in without fail 2 days after processing but nothing has arrived yet. Every so often they revert to paying me to an old bank account (no idea why) so just wanted to check that hasn't happened again.
    Thanks.
Oops I've not done my invoice yet. Thanks for reminding me.

Still none of the elusive pizza jobs from TNS... they don't normally release out of hours from what I recall.

I'm sure they are quite overdue now, perhaps they have gone elsewhere?
You mean I didn't miss them when I was out today? Hurrah!!!
Just did my first phone call for Gfk. Couldn't have been easier! I was less than a minute on the phone - felt I ought to have padded it out a bit, but I asked what I needed to and got what I needed.
Call was answered first time, within 3 rings! Questionnaire a doddle!
Right, I'm off to spend a night with the girls and a take-away!
    Have fun!

thanks Dan, as it was I was offered a deal where I could get an extra side for an extra £1. Usually I'd have snapped it, but decided against it as I didn't want to risk not getting paid, and it wasn't actually cheaper. She did seem a bit surprised though!

You know on the underground gap shops... can anyone PM the meaning of Q12 (Did the staff member ask if you wanted "xxxxxxxxxxxxx" in Part B. I'm concerned I might be marking down on it as I've never had anyone say those specific words.

My understanding was it means did they ask you if you wanted x by name.

EDIT: Screw it, I'm having some. Looks like everybody else is. Have fired off an email to Denise asking for the correct date ranges and telling her I don't want to lose any points because of this! :P
