Oooh I'm so gutted! My first job shown available on GR and I was too slow to pick it up! Nevermind, damn internet going down at work!!!!

Got accepted to a couple more MS companies today (The-Company-That-Cannot-Be-Named and MCE). Just waiting on TNS to get back to me and I think that's more than enough companies to be getting on with!

Only got three jobs booked in at the moment up until mid July so am desperately looking to pick a few more up! I miss the excitment!

No letter to show which is a bit odd, I have just been given the name of the person to ask for at the desk.

I've done these before with another firm.

The person on the desk usually knows what you are doing there and may or may not escort you around to the canteen

As duchy says take the contact details of the Gfk rep as I did have once instance where the contact at the firm was off sick and he'd not told anyone else I was arriving.

However I keep getting one this morning for a pub in Doncaster which is a whopping 200 miles away.

If you have selected you can do airport jobs then ANY airport job (regardless of where you live) that is available will show up.

As others have said the RE web-site and filters doesn't work properly when it is actually up and running an very often crashes.

Have just done my first GFK job (phone call - very exciting ). Do they have a completed jobs section (along the lines of TNS/RE). Can't see anything, so do you get an email or anything to know that your job has been accepted and will be paid.

    Thanks
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

Has anyone here ever done an assignment for PIP? They just contacted me to use my home for another MS to do a covert video job

I've not heard of them, but I've not been MSing for as long as a few on here...

My thoughts are that I'd tell them either to make the MSer use his/her home, or let you do the job. I think it's really cheeky of them to ask you to do this tbh. Like saying "you're not good enough to do the job, but we'd like to use your home". Tell them to p*ss off.

I've got 3 to do for them today, one to a bank and 2 to power suppliers.

I'm struggling with the Test for the bank job though. I know I've put the right answers as I've got the briefing notes open in a different window but it keeps telling me I've got at least one wrong. Can anyone help me?

ETA: Don't worry - I've done it now!

So long as they are paying a fee to use your home then I'd use it as a chance to get to know the company with a view to them using you (rather than your home) another time. Whoever stole Monkey's pen and made him grumpy-Give it BACK !!
