Does anyone know when the company that should not be named pays and how does it work, do I need to invoice them or something.

They normally send you an invoice to complete and they pay fairly soon after you return it. ;)

Oooh I'm so pleased! Managed to pick up a released Petrol job from Aba-i, which was in the same area as a RE job I have this Sunday. I've just emailed Aba-i asking if they could extend the deadline for me so that the two jobs coincide and it looks like they've agreed! Just double checking with a confirmation email.

I love it when things fall together nicely! Now to see if I can pick up a lunch job while I'm there too and it's a day out shopping for free!

I seem to be having a good run on jobs in the same place -and I'm getting better at asking to reschedule when needed to do so too :)
Just moved a bank job to fit in with a car job tomorrow-which is especially nice as everthing seems to have seriously dried up now. Last week my diary was stuffed-this week it's lots of white space.

Well the office canteen job was a complete nightmare! I got to the reception and got very puzzled looks - there was already an MS in the canteen doing a visit! I was escorted by a very worried lady who was positive that one of us was an imposter and was going on about security breaches. She pointed out the other MS who she referred to as my 'colleague', expecting us to know one another, we just stared at each other totally confused. Meanwhile the canteen staff were gathered around in the empty dining room, listening in and obviously realising out who we were. The reception lady kept saying loudly things like 'we know who you are but they don't' and 'I'll let you get on with it' etc.

I made a quick call to the MS company who were at first just as confused as us but then called me back and said that there were two counters that needed to be visited, we were to report on one each...this wasn't detailed in the brief, what a mess!!

As I left, the lady who escorted me said that the canteen staff clearly knew who I was as they had started panicking as she walked out.

My cover was well and truly blown, what a disaster!!

Do they pay in cash at all? Every time I look to join them, they say about vouchers and I don't shop in the places the vouchers are for but I would quite like a petrol job.

    Eugh!

A couple of these came up near me and I hated how the brief was written, so aggressive in style and it all seemed a bit of grief so I passed and I'm glad I did now!

I know they have to say that if you don't follow the brief, they may not pay you but we're not stupid and other firm's briefs are so much more friendly.

Well I only did my first Aba-i petrol job last week (my first job for them) and as far as I can tell - the petrol jobs pay cash. Even if it was a voucher for petrol - that'd still come in useful!!! I know some of the clients do pay in vouchers but I suppose even if you didn't shop there, you could give it to someone as a birthday present and you'd save money that way?

I just found the Petrol job so straight forward. It was a dream. My deadline extension has been confirmed - yippee! The woman was very lovely and REALLY prompt with her resposnes. Very impressed!

I'm not sure I'll do one of these again either. The brief says nothing about me only visiting the cafe and not the hot food counter, in fact the report questions are entirely based on hot food purchases. **Sigh!** :(
