No word of a lie, it was like something out of a Benny Hill sketch (showing my age) with people following me around cleaning floors, windows, bins etc. All it lacked was the theme tune.
Even when I went to check out the loos, a lady came in with a mop and nearly knocked me over in her haste... that was fine by me - the toilets were very small and it was accidental - but I thought she was going to go down on her knees and beg me not to get her sacked she apologised so much. She even offered to help me carry my shopping bags back downstairs - I only had one bag..... It verged on the embarrassing, to be honest.:o
I thought they were meant to give a receipt as a matter of course. At least that way, we wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb!....... (it was kind of funny though...:rotfl:)

this is why i dont do the most famous fast food chain! cos they dont give reciepts all the time....the one time i did it the manager had to come over and HAND WRITE me a reciept then all the staff were running round like headless chickens trying to do everything ....was so stupid .... havent done one since!I am a full time Benefit and Money Adviser for a leading non profit charity and I LOVE my job

You know what would be funny, to do a GP Burger job, not get a receipt, sit and eat, do the other stuff you need to do for the job, then stand up to leave, but go to the counter and tellt hem you need a receipt and sorry that you forgot to ask when they served you.
Then watch their panic-striken faces!0 -

I always ask for a receipt for 2 reasons (i.e. when I'm not doing a MS). And I think all other MSers on here should start doing this too.
1) It will confuse the hell out of the staff as they'll think they've already been visited that month;
2) You get better service.
For example....took housemate to the burger place the other day. I don't do burger MS jobs but just for fun asked for a receipt at the Drive Through. Pulled up at the next window to collect food and it was all ready and waiting. But...parked up and his chips were stone cold. So we went back to complain. I have never known anyone be more apologetic - all we wanted was some new chips but the manager insisted on giving us new chips, a free doughnut and a refund too. Who was I to complain? :rotfl:Happy New Year :beer:0 -
Can anyone tell me please when and how often BARE pay please?
Ta0 -
It's usually around the 20th of the month the month after you did the work. Therefore, for the work you did this month you should be paid around July 20th.
By the way, how long did it take them to score your reports?0 -

I completed and sent the report on Friday afternoon and got my score about half a hour ago!0 -

Then all of the kids were given balloons, this deteriorated into mayhem as the restaurant became a sea of yellow rubber with kids cryin and fightin over who`s balloon was who`s.
I am soooo lookin forward to my next visit there. What fast service.lol.0 -
I never do the fast food jobs as I don't like them, but seriously thinking of taking some for the comedy value
No, I won't be doing any more either - was purely an 'every little helps' thing on the pay front but that didn't work out either . I had no idea of prices before accepting the job and the reimburse was not enough to cover.
I do suggest eveyone does at least one though - it's an experience :T0 -
