Does anyone know roughly how long it takes them to grade the car circuit reports?

Sometimes they are done almost instantly, sometimes a day or two. I'm expecting to get marked down for my spelling - but sorry, I'm in the UK so I will spell COLOUR the proper way, not the US way! (many of the graders are from the US).

Didn't take that long to input as I cut & pasted from Word compute-9.gif.

LOL, I'm American but live in England so I do try to spell words the English way, it would be funny to be marked down for doing it the English way when I have to consciously remember to spell the words the non-American way :)

I'm nervous because this is my first car circuit and I hope I did them okay.

    I'm so cross!!!!!!!

I just got an email complaining that I did not put the full address of the car dealership on my report, and giving me a 6! I have never had less than a 8 for anything, have done several car circuits and never ever been told to put the full address. I have sent an email to the lady who allocated me the shops, as I think the mark is outrageous. The report was of the same standard as my last car circuit, where I got several tens!

So for those people who did their first car shops this week, please don't take it to heart if you get low marks, as I reckon it is a very mean marker.

Darn, I put most of the address but missed the locality. I did put the city and postcode so hopefully it will be okay.

I'm sorry that happened to you I hope you can resolve it with the person who allocated them as that doesn't seem fair.

I just had a really funny incident while doing a Chicken shop. :D

I queued for 27 minutes to get to the counter (as only 2 tills were open), and then received no apology or acknowledgement of the wait . Anyway, as the member of staff that served me was getting my order together, they were chatting with their colleague. They proceeded to tell them that they were sure they had been Mystery shopped by a group of customers they'd served 5 minutes previously (I don't know how I kept a straight face), but that they weren't worried as everything had gone fine .

Well that's certainly more than it did for me.....31 minutes from start to finish, a member of staff who couldn't be bothered, and wanted to charge me 10p for sauces. No serviettes, plastic cutlery or wipes, and to add insult to injury the food was awful. Let's hope the suspected Mystery shoppers give them a better report than I will!!!

Any tips on how to get tens, I'm starting to input my results now and any tips would be appreciated!!

Car circuit wasn't actually as bad I thought it would be, may even consider doing another if I get the opportunity.

I honestly thought that some of the people posting about the reaction of fast food servers to being asked for a receipt may have been exaggerating a little for comedy value, :cheesy:but I found out for myself yesterday when I did my first such job, placed my order and asked for a receipt......

No word of a lie, it was like something out of a Benny Hill sketch (showing my age) with people following me around cleaning floors, windows, bins etc. All it lacked was the theme tune.

Even when I went to check out the loos, a lady came in with a mop and nearly knocked me over in her haste... that was fine by me - the toilets were very small and it was accidental - but I thought she was going to go down on her knees and beg me not to get her sacked she apologised so much. She even offered to help me carry my shopping bags back downstairs - I only had one bag..... It verged on the embarrassing, to be honest.:o

I thought they were meant to give a receipt as a matter of course. At least that way, we wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb!....... (it was kind of funny though...:rotfl:)

I noticed in some posts that people are being caught out as being MSers. I have come up with a cunning plan. We should get t-shirts made with "I am not a mystery shopper" on the front. Do you think this would work?
    Matt

Someone ages ago came up with one saying "I am a mystery shopper" and on the back it said " Today is my day off"

I never do the fast food jobs as I don't like them, but seriously thinking of taking some for the comedy value :D
