Anyone recommend a good quality hotel in torremolinos where the area is fairly flat as my wife is disabled and uses a wheelchair.

Since where you are going is Chav central, if you want to avoid the masses you seriously need to be careful.
I would look here and find out where all the little scroats won't be.0 -
Hi i can recommend the Riu Nautilas it is right on the sea front it is actually classed has Torremolinos but it is closer to Benalmadena away from the lively area. There are bars and cafes within 50yards and caters for people like yourself0

I can personally vouch for SOL DON PEDRO on the Malaga side of Torremolinos.
10/10 a 100% class of hotel.
All the SOL hotels I have used have all been either 9 - 10/10.
Good Luck.Thomson 757 Man0 -
Byalphaindia. Many Thanks for that never been in a Sol Hotel.0

There are 3 sol hotels on the seafront - don Pedro, Don Marco and the one I can't remember the name of, it is a fabulous concourse and the staff are brilliant - my husband and I are early 50's and love it - kids went with us last year and love it as well - 19, 16 and 11Titch0

have a look on https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk - search for Torremolinos and click on hotels - it rates hotels by guest reviews - there is a fabulous fish bar in centre of torre - where you can choose your shellfish and watch it be cooked and then eat it with really nice cheap draught wine or beer - lovelyTitch0

Torremolinos is a ghastly place. Fuengirola just down the coast isn't quite as bad.
Also, Torremolinos isn't flat at all - there's steep steps from the seafront to the town centre so I wouldn't recommend it for a wheelchair user. Fuengirola is much flatter. My dad uses a walking stick and can't cope with Torremolinos but likes likes going to Fuengirola for some winter sunshine each year.0 -
Thank you all very much but it seems we have a mixed bag of opinions and i had nearly made mine up on the "sol don pedro" until doshwasters opinion came up.0
