All totally sold out now!! Total waste of time - didn't even give me the chance to enter any of my details - was there on the dot & I just kept getting a black screen!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Not impressed!!

I refreshed the screen wih about 4 seconds to go and got straight through. I had my card details ready to paste and I think going for a Wednesday probably helped a bit.

Aaargh - I got all the way through the booking process for a £29 room and they had all sold out!!

Wow what a waste of time

This hotel uses THE CRAPPEST booking system in the world. FLASH!! !!!!!!?

Anyway - it couldn't even load the terms on the last page and then I got a confirmation with a number of -1

I've got a screenshot and I will be emailing them. I am also going to send them a note to ensure that my details are to be deleted off their system with confirmation.

I'm wondering how many half pages of data they received and the booking system conked out and showed not available. I bet they didn't sell half as many rooms. What a complete shambles

I just got a one pound room.

Booked the wrong month

Any other date from now until the end of year would have been fine, but I went and made the mistake for a day that DH has an exam. A very important exam. I could cry right now - I never get lucky EVER?!

Is there any way I can let someone else go instead of me? Like my Mum or something?

Well, that was annoying - I got in straight away and it didn't recognise my email address/last 4 digits of the card (again!) so had to go through all the mess of completing all my details, got as far as 'terms and conditions' and it kept saying it could load the Ts&Cs, close the box and try again - did this a few times and then it said the room wasn't available.

Couldn't get on again - kept looking like it had loaded but either just had a black screen or a black screen with the odd one or 2 drop down boxes showing - like it couldn't load properly

I think more people than normal must have had these technical issues as they normally sell out much quicker than that.

Oh well, mustn't grumble I've managed one before

I think it's a great bit of fun. My aim is to actually get a room booked one day though!

Does anyone understand this? I could never get beyond the (expired) countdown. The £1 button never came up. Did anyone else have this problem? I was refreshing as advised in previous posts, but still it just took me back to 00.00.00. Does anyone know why? Is that just what it does when it is overloaded? Or was I doing something wrong? I've had the black screen business before but never not being able to move beyond the countdown.
