Just have to agree. My Argos bookcase fell apart within weeks, my Ikea ones still going strong. Much better built.
I don't thing anyone is disagreeing that Ikea are at the cheap end of the furniture market, but they are certainly one of the better companies.
As far as the bed is concerned, for that price with a mattress you cant really go wrong

It really depends what you buy from Ikea. Some is quite solid, other items are like the old MFI (a gust of wind in the wrong direction and they fall apart).
Being better than Tesco and Argos isn't really saying much.0
