oh god no, I wouldn't trust them either, what you could do (assuming this is a branch based thing) is copy it, take the original with you but just show it to them)...mind you if it's a postal thing the whole theory falls apart:D, supose you could get a certified copy from someone 'official' but im sure
    that will cost.

Plans for today: nsd hopefully, I have my cuppa soups and i'm not afriad to use them.
hopefully a stress free day due to bothdd's being back in school, only worry is booking my car in for it's MOT next week, but then again it's got to be one of the better cars i bought (as in very little rust lol)
Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D

i think it will be a postal thing, and i'd gladly go for a certified copy but they generally only accept them from bank managers or solicitors who if they will do it charge. I did once have a long conversation with a bank about how the people at work have to swear similar oaths to solicitors so why couldn't i use them? and anyway what makes a bank manager more responsible than another profession, all they're doing is saying that its a copy of something.

you're right about the bank manager thing, no way are they ore respectable they buy into this whole rip the customer off and then refuse to help people

had my first NSD yesterday:j am quite happy about this. And made another pad a solitary £1 but every little counts.
Have decided not to ring for my vanquis balance till tomorrow then I start next week knowing exactly what I owe.

The 1 debt in 100 days I know that the best thing to do would be the one with the most interest, but am thinking more along the lines of the car fines. Start with the £100 one and then the larger one and maybe see if I can get both out of the way:D, well, I can hope:D

You know when it's been one of those days? Lets just say mine started badly and progressively charged down hill, oh well nothing can do about it.Managed a NSD yesterday bringing my total so far this year to 2, I might even hit the 10 this month that I want. Looks like there is anew mircowave in work and as soon as it is PAT tested I am back on the decent food, cupa soup just doesn't cut it lol.Now I have been without a washing maching since before christmas, renting the property I have had to go through the landlord to get things fixed ( luckily I have a good friend who lives round the corner who lets me use his machine), the washing machine bloke was suppossed to turn up toady so OH waitied in and a friend came roound to do the afternoon shift once OH had to go......did the bloke turn up.....did he heckers like, muppet, and not even a phone call.No answer no vm when I rang, so will have to try again tmw, am fuming. I can't keep using my friends machine.I am wondering wwhen my Debt free date will be, really need to dig out my WF notes as that is the one that is causing me the problems. Once I have that maybe I can make a better plan of action.Hav definately decided that my 1 debt for 100 days is the large of the 2 car fines. Then Barclay loan then...... well we shall see. The Vanquis is my ongoing little daily pad's.

that's terrible him not turning up.

I know they say you should pay off the debt with the highest interest but i myself feel that paying back some of the little debts is more motivating and also clears some 'mess' off your spreadsheet. (well it did off my spreadsheet anyway). I would probably tackle the Sky one first then work my way up or something like that.

mmmmm spreadshhets? wish I was that computer savvy to make one up.Have forgotten about the Sky one, lol, you're right LT, would make me feel a lot better. I did after I had paid off the Cap1. So, the Sky one goes at the next pay day.My only woory is the WF debt: it's 65% !!!!!!!!! yep 65% interest, they have refused to freeze the ineterst at every turn and are a pain in the backside. I need to clear the Vanquis one asap as well, but really want to consentrate on the barclays one.........am very confused and unsure, barclays is mainly due to the fact that I have my bank accounts with them, I have no over draft or anything else but it is still worrying me.

65% interest????? do they let you overpay? if so i think you're better off concentration on that one, maybe just send your loose change to sky to clear it slightly earlier. have you done an SOA /budget recently? if i can help you sort out an order to pay things or anything just let me know

LT that would be great, any assistence is much appreciated.I will be paying the sky off this month as soon as the MOT is paid for ( the money for that has been put aside and anything left will go on the debts. The WF is a min of £197 per month, if they had let me free the interest it would have been good but not chance, they also cancelled my insurance a few months aftre I took it out so when i divorced and lost the job (due to a 2.5 hr commute each way) I wasn't covered....that is with the FSA but it is really dragging on.I can overpay which is good and now I am working I need to get a current balance. The car fines are important as well .....well isn't everything lolI have a budget for just my half of the billsSalary after tax: £1500enefits £120My half of bills £1000petrol £120child related ie dinners/trips/pocket money££120total £1240which leave £260 for debtsas we have just moved in together and haven't had any major bills as yet we have over estimated what we need to pay, we will revamp this as soon as they come in. Anything extra I then get goeson the debts.

okey dokey i'll have a look for you and see what i would do in your situation, you can take the advice or leave it i won't mind. I may have a chance tomorrow if not will definitely get it at the weekend if that's ok. Any other interest rates i need to know about?

Keep your head up friend, and keep smiling we will both get there!

oh LT that would be great,:D no other interest that I know of.

Car failed MOT but the work comes to under #100 so thats good:j so the other stuff put aside goes on the debts....looks like I will clear the sky ,and the smaller of the car fines

The washing bloke eventually made his sorry way to me, not his ault, the call centre sent him to the landlords:mad: so he digs out his tools and finds ther is nothing wrong! Eventually we find out it is the wall socket:rotfl: so I have been walking back and for to my friends house for 3 weeks for nothing:rotfl: ho hum.

Have managed 3 NSD's in a row and made a small pad which I forgot to add to the PAD page..oops.

I am hoping to get into the bank tmw to see about over payments, was hoping for maybe #100 a month instead of #75, we shall see what they say.
