How nice that DDs can walk to school - and built in exercise for the hamster too .
It sounds like its all coming together for you. Is there somewhere you can put your tomatoes outside or will they go in a window somewhere?
Congrats on the marathon - sub 3.30 or otherwise!

Wellllll, its FRIDAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! annd the end to the week.
Am not sure whether things are good or ad...all I know is they are highly complicated. Where do I start? maye att the begining or slightly later.
Thought I had worked out all my finances but I haven't really:o seems I didn't cope last year with all the hassle as well as I thought I did.
Lets start with the easy part first.
I know what money I have comming in ( nothing from the business as yet, its hard to convert the effort to cash and not sure how long it should take really as recruitment is a long process)
And I know what is going out in essential bills
Leaving me with £69 a week for food and petrol (and all cleaning essentials/cat food).
I don't get full rent benefit and havee to find £50 a week from my usual benefit......must go and see about that I think. Though I get full council tax benefit.
I didn't pay the last months rent in my old place, as being on benefit meant I needed to use it as a rent for this.
And so the old estate agent won't return my deposit ( which my ex house mate has allocated and I won't see anyway) and therefore I still need the deposit for here.
Sooooooooooo I need to come up with £2K asap: and my mother/friends can't help.
I have the MOT comming up as well....but thats a usual hazzard.
I also realised on my final determined paperwork sort through that I owe 2 parking fines and that I have missed a card payment due to moving and no access to internet to pay it :mad: and so have been hit with huge charges:eek:
New place is good, but have no heating ( and have bled the boilers) and the boiler is leaking. Landlord threw a strop as I had a land linee fitted ( I had asked the agent) and says that I don't need one.
He has also vetoed the idea of sky/virgin:mad:
so no idea what to do nowProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D0 -
sorry that things are going pear shaped at the moment, not sure what i can suggest, i am surprised that your landlord is upset about having a land line, i would have thought that was normal.0

allotment is going well, heat and rain have helped not only the veggies but the weeds so OH is going to be busy weeding for a while We've a lot of veggies in the greenhouse but i've suggested we keep them there until after our week away as we can get someone to water them in the greenhouse but not at the lottie.0

Ahhhh CBM: type in Mud runner into google or look on the facebook page, about 6 miles and obstacles and waist/chest deep mud and 2 lakes
but I love this type of thing.
LT: all sorted on the plant front?
Realised I hadn't been on here for aaaaaaaagggggggggggggggges as I had killed my pc so put it in to be made all better.
I dropped the self employment thing as it was way to costly, recruitment is a pain, so am temping as a TA and going back to my original plan to go into teaching. Its great funProud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

glad to see you again on here, i'd been wondering how you've been. Did you're landlord calm down about the land line.
Veggies are doing well both at home and the lottie, though the latter is overgrown with weeds again, we really must get there more regularly.0 -
I googled Mud runner :eek::eek::eek::eek: I think the photos say it all really!
Sounds like you've come to a decision about business / job etc - hope it all works out. I imagine its a good time to be looking for teaching jobs at this end of term?
LT - helloooo - glad the lottie is doing well.

And she's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!Can't believe that I have been away for sooooo long. Ltes see, so much has happened, lots of it bad and a bit of it quite good1) problems with return of my bond for the flat meant that I was evicted! The old estate agent 'lost' it and I am in the process of taking them to court for the bond, the new agent agreed to let me take the property without one.......and knew I was claiming housing beenfit which is paid in arreers.....so, 2 months in and they decide to evict as I am behind with the rent.....the judge siad that he understood tha the council paid in areers and that the bond was missing but under the letter of the law I was late and therefore could be evicted. So, there goes me and dd's into b&b in the back end of nowhere, and me illigally driving a car with no mot to get them 50 miles a day to school!2) geographically challenged man, asked me to marry him and we have moved in together3) decided that self employment was not paying bills, and as I had to pay for the b&b as the council wouldn't I have had to go back to recruitmentt.4) job pays well, have been there a few months and now I have someone to share the bills and rent with I am firmly back on the MSE track with views of clearing asap5) christmas is saved and paid for ( and I have done most of the shopping)Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
