How many bulls are buying?

Given all the talk of "green shoots" and increasing optimism amongst all the HPI cheerleaders on this site, I would be interested to find out. .

So come on chucky, stevie, ISTL etc. are you buying now.

If not, why not?

I think you'll find the most avid cheerleaders already bought

I'm excluding StevieJ with his ridiculously small mortgage.

But surely if it's such a sure-fire one-way bet, they should be buying more.

People don't all have masses of money lying around you know and we're not all desperate to build a BTL empire.

If I had the money and found a flat/house I wanted then I would buy now.

But I thought high house prices made people richer.

So where is all their money that they no doubt bragged about having after buying a BTL or two?

and i'm not a bull - i'm an optimist who sees opportunity or someone who needs to sell ;)

That's fair enough. Good luck to you.

Do you think house prices have bottomed?

not from a general point of view - some areas will have very little to go from here others will have more.

i will say though that i have a feeling if they have bottomed it will only be a 12/18 month blip to make it a smaller than now dip then.

So if it's so close to the bottom why don't you buy more now then?

a couple of reasons - due to there was more to choose from when i bought and it was also in the last tax year.

this tax year i've been looking again but haven't seen anything of quality or even value.
i've got a few on my list but they're not at the right price. i'm in no rush to buy and will wait to see. close to the bottom is less important to me - getting something at the right price is the driver for me.
