Ive had both, a Blackberry (Curve I think) and an iphone.

Without a shadow of a doubt, I would recommend an iphone.

agree - I really hated my blackberry 8120. Just dumped 8 blackberries at work and everyone has gone for iphone.

You will need to spend more than £50 a year though - data is a flat rate £8pm per phone for us (o2 business)!

  • So is the cheapest Blackberry contract still around the £30-£35?

I don't need a new one...is the Storm or the Curve meant to be best?

I recently changed to a new contract and picked up a Blackberry 8900 Curve.
Very very happy with the phone lots of features - great camera, internet is great for checking stocks and GMAIL client is brilliant. Google maps is useful too. You get used to the keypad easily.

I noticed that Orange were doing it for £29.78 a month with 500 mins 600 texts and "unlimited" (fair usage) internet and email 18 month contract.

So I went into Phones4u said "I want a blackberry and it must be no more than £25 a month".

So walked out of there with a Raccoon (?) £35 a month 18 month contract with £10 credit each month so in effect £25 with the 500 mins, 600 texts and unlimited net and email. Got my magic number set up to my gf so all calls to her are free and dont affect my minutes. Very very happy at the mo with it.

Also qualifies for free Orange Maps sat-nav but havn't got it working as of yet.
