    You never mentioned the claim.

If it involved your brother then they are less likely to reduce the amount they accept.

The claim was a non-fault and the insurance was cancelled subsquently.

Doesnt matter. If you mislead them it could create big problems.

Yes I am aware of that! Like I've said it was not intentional, we could've selected a number of insurance companies at the time but we selected ecar through recommendation.
  • Whats that go to do with anything?

As for being non intentional. even if it was you had plenty of time to notice on documents, not to mention your prize was far cheaper. would have rang alarm bells surely.

Im willing to bet if it had been in the insurers favour you would have noticed.

Their website did not have a son option.

I'm sorry to say but it was when your brother got to this point of the quote he should have either passed the company by, called them to get a quote, or as the company said itself, chose other family.
IMO because son isn't listed as a choice isn't an excuse to choose spouse instead.

Well in our initial letter we've stated that we are WILLING to pay but we're just wondering if they can help with this matter in view of our circumstances. It is not a way to back out and run away!
