And there ended the lesson nevica, what we the public need, we don’t get.
We are manipulated by the IC’s greed, shame but what goes around comes around

The IC’s are a law unto themselves and at this time they are in clover, they are quickly approaching barren land, though fingers crossed they get what's coming !!!!

I agree. Thanks Pedro. It was a lesson in how an insurance company runs and I'm not suprised afterall. I understand that it is difficlut to regulate such a huge juggernaut as the financial system but ultimately at its source is greed and avarice. There are some good economists out there and dare I say it Dunstonh and Raskazz appear to be some of them but really what you have in the end is Mamon who is basically a false god and will always let you down in the end!!!

Fortunately Pedro is on my ignore list, so I can't see his posts apart from quoted sections - I assume it's a nebulous and illogical rant which adds nothing to the specific topic at hand. Imagine my utter lack of surprise if this thread is yet another that gets derailed by him.

Raskazz, I don't understand your attitude, Pedro speaks a lot of sense in regards to the state of the banks and the financial system in general.

Nevica,So where are you going to go for your car insurance next year? The more expensive premium no charges for changes with a UK call centre type...or the less expensive premium type?

No, he doesn't. Read his post history.

What he actually does is good old traditional British knee-jerk reactionism. His threads are full of unfocused and illogical rants against the UK financial system. When people actually debate specifics - or, heaven forbid - ask him to back up his arguments with evidence he becomes very evasive and refuses to engage in adult debate. Several threads where posters have asked for advice have been spoiled by his puerile antics, and at least two have been deleted by the board's admin. Add a load of nonsense about 'Zorro' and you have quite a mix, none of it good.

IIRC he takes this attitude to insurers because they didn't pay a claim for him, either because he didn't disclose facts correctly or he simply didn't understand the nature of the product that he purchased.

Well, good question. After my lesson in the insurance system this evening I think I will opt for a bike because I wont have to insure it. But I might have to buy life insurance which will be a drag.

When I changed my address last year I wasn't charged anything for changing the car insurance (Direct Line). Neither was my son. He's with Elephant. I never knew it was the norm.

Both of which were a more expensive option when I renewed my wife\'s car insurance in March.
