Well interestingly enough I received a cheque for £20.13 which I find slightly odd since it was a claim for 4 passengers and so how do you divide that amount equally between 4 !!??

Just received £40 cheque for our BA flights to Vancover for out honeymoon in 06, pleasant surprise as had totally forgotten about it!

I got £26.83 for two return flights from Gatwick to Barbados. Both were Premium Economy with Virgin on the same route.....how can the compensation be an odd number of pence???

I got mine through last week for £101.?? can't remember the pence! That was for 3 adult flights from Man to Orlando in Nov 05 and 3 Adults and 1 child Man to Orlando in May 06 (one way was Premium Economy)

Don't understand the maths of it all!

Received refund of £32.18 for 2 flights to Melbourne in 2006. Got the foriginal fares cheaply from BA during test cricket deal. Find out about both from Martin. THANK YOU:T:T

I received £31.54 for 20 return flights mainly to the US.
I wrote to BA as follows : ( 8/6/09 no reply as yet)

I believe that your payment is incorrect. I have sent you paperwork for refund of 20.5 return flights.
You are saying on your recorded message line that payment will be between £4- £20.00 per return flight.
So, even if you take the lowest amount of £4.00 , my refund should still be at least - £86.00 !!!!!!

Please send me a breakdown of how you arrived at £31.54, I am appalled at this settlement it took me at least 3 hours of administration!

I look forward to a speedy response.

I have tried on Many occasions to call the telephone number freephone 0800 043 0343 but have not been able to get through. Anyone else having problems getting through or with the BA refund???

Yes how are they working this out? I got £8.06 for a return flight to Florida for two people. (two tickets) £4 for each flight... surely it should be way more than this?
