I was wondering that too - after a very interesting read on argos policies (I have to take a 6mth printer to them this weekend and guessing it will be sent off for repair) - I was waiting for the OP to pop up with what happened - if anyone knows, we'd all like to know the outcome!! Interesting reading though.

just use the product, you will find faults sometimes we ignore certain faults.
I had a dvd player from whsmith it had problem with scart lead conection it didnt bother me as i used the phono leads and I returnd the player after 4+ months and got the refund as they said they cant get me replacement or repaired so 4+ months of dvd player for free. I could have still used the player so start using the product otherwise you might notice a fault and it might be over 12 months warranty.

I am sorry if all this doesnt make sence I am feeling really sleepy.

The way round the 16 day returns is buy off the website for home delivery then you can take any item back within 7 working days after delivery under the DSR of course no good for managers specials instore but good for other items readily available
