Pick up some tips from here:
    http://www.scambuster419.co.uk/scambusts.htm

I warn you, some of this stuff is hilarious. 'Reverse-scamming' they call it, totally brilliant.

This page: http://www.419eater.com/html/hall_of_shame.htm illustrates in pictures, a lot quicker than I could explain. If you go in for this stuff yourself, remember they are very dangerous people so make sure you take all precautions.

Hell of a lot of fun though!
  • Hi all.
Here's the latest email update to my "purchaser".
I'm not sure why evangelical Lutherans are desperate for a TV and Video shipped all the way from the UK, but I suppose they have their reasons:rotfl:
The phone number I have included is the Radio 1 Flirt Divert phone number, so I really hope she calls it :D (attention of the moderator - -I'm sure it's acceptable to leave this number in, as it is a publicly promoted number by Radio1).
    Anyway - here it is......

I notice in the first e-mail she gave a phone number, I wonder whose number this is!

I googled the phone number and that's how I found out it was a scam.
Unfortunately the moderator asked me to remove the number from the post, so no one will be able to search for it

  • Tragically, I think she may have twigged, as I've had no response today.
And she seemed so keen ;)

I've sent a follow up email, cos I'm sure she doesn't want this bargain to get away!

    Hi Wendy,
I haven't yet had a response from you.
I also am not having received payment.
If you did not receive previous email, I have included it for you below.
Please respond with payment so that I can ensure your goods are shipped to you immediately.
    Kind regards,
    Andrew

I hope she bites again, cos I'm looking forward to the next phase.... I may even send something to her address.... :rotfl:
